NMIMS Mumbai MPT Highlights 2026
The MPT, as the names of the course suggest (Master of Physiotherapy), is for the duration of two years. In continuation, the courses are divided among semesters. The admissions to this course are decided according to the students' secured scores in the CET entrance exam, followed by the PI rounds. The eligibility and selection for the courses are as follows:
Eligibility: Indian nationals must have a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from an Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) recognised institute.

Yes, the entrance examination is a computer-based online examination to be held at the test centres. Every year SVKM’s NMIMS conducts the UG Entrance examination (NPAT) for class 12 passed-out / appearing candidates across campuses.
NMAT registration typically commence in the first week of August every year. Candidates must complete the NMAT registration before the deadline to appear for the exam. Candidates who wish to retake the exam later within the current testing widnow are also required to apply before the last date.

NMAT exam is conducted for the admission to PGDM course. After the result declaration, it is advisable to the candiates to be attentive and vigiliant throughout the admission process. Candidates should keep their documents ready for the next stages.
The next stage of the NMAT selection process is the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI) round conducted by the participating institutes.
The participating institute may also decide to conduct a WAT (Writing Ability Test) or Case Discussion (CD) round instead of the conventional GD round. NMIMS Mumbai MPT Application Process 2026
Applications are now open for the programme, interested students need to follow the stages given in the pointers to fill the NMIMS MPT application form:
- Go to the website of the University, i.e., www.nmims.edu). Then, create an account.
- Fill the application form with all the mandatory details.
- Pay the non refundable fee of INR 2,500 i.e., application charges.
- Upload all the imp. documents and click on the 'submit' button to complete the application process.

A total of 108 questions appear in NMAT exam. Each section of NMAT exam has 36 questions. All three sections have equal weightage in NMAT exam.
SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam over a testing window of more than 100 days. Candidates get an option to schedule the exam after they have submitted the online application form. Admit card for NMIMS NPAT exam will be released immediately after the candidate books the slot to appear for NPAT. Candidates can carry hard or soft copy of the NPAT admit card on the exam day to get entry inside the exam hall.

The candidates who is in first-year and have paid the fees for the academic year can withdraw the admission and be eligible for refunds per the NMIMS refund policy. Given below procedure for admission withdrawal at NMIMS Mumbai
Step 1: The student will submit the application form available on our website.
Step 2: The admission office will check the completion of the application and process if it is complete.
Step 3: If the application is post commencement the candidate will have to provide the clearance/ no dues from different departments.
Step 4: Documents will be sent for approval and then submitted to the Accounts department.
Step 5: It will take 15 days for refund (if applicable). Kindly note, in case of pandemic going on and increasing or natural calamity we will inform you of any delay
Step 6: Candidate can put a request for Migration / leaving certificate if the withdrawal is post commencement of the program.
