    NMIMS placement percentage data is not released. For MBA Tech, highest and average package recorded in 2025 was 27 LPA and 11.5 LPA. 133 recruiters visited the campus in 2025. 

    Q:   Can students get direct admission at NMIMS Mumbai?
    A: 

    No, candidates seeking admission to Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies must appear for the programme-specific entrance exams conducted by the NMIMS Mumbai. NMIMS Deemed-To-Be-University also accepts several national-level entrance tests for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD course admissions. The accepted entrance exams are NMAT, NMIMS CET, GPAT, NMIMS - NPAT, and others. Study the NPAT books to clear the NMIMS - NPAT exam.     NMIMS Mumbai admissions are a three-step process. Candidates are required to fulfil the minimum eligbility criteria to apply for the respective courses. Find below the detailed steps around NMIMS Mumbai admission process:

    1. Application Form: Eligible candidates have to register for the course-wise entrance exams such as NPAT, NLAT, etc., conducted by the university. To register for the respective courses, candidates have to fill an online application form along with paying the application fee.
    2. Selection Round: The university conducts various entrance exams to provide admission to respective courses. Candidates must qualify the exams with a valid score.

    Crispy two-minute review about my college.
    Placements: The placement history of our department students was so surprising, especially in our disciplines. Bachelor of commerce in honors students succeeded with 80% of placement results. The campus also initiated guaranteed cashback returns for placement successful students with top packages above 8 LPA.
    Infrastructure: We have secured the campus with the requisite specifications. Auditoriums are so large with all the specializations like AC features, clear audio and video features, and comfortable seating. Talents were recognized and rewarded for their excellence. This institution shows rapid transition and growth of the students in their interested fields.
    Faculty: NMIMS is deemed a university offering B.Com in various specializations but B.Com in finance is one of the most preferable courses. A maximum number of seats is offered to such specializations considering its necessities. Most probably 80% of students from our disciplines got cleared above 70% of the results.

    The college provides a good library and classrooms.
    Placements: The university 2023 placement report shows that the median package offered to undergraduate students was INR 7.95 LPA for three-year courses. Top recruiters in 2023 included ONGC, MRF, and Samsung. They could work for auditing and accounting firms, insurance companies, and financial institutions.
    Infrastructure: Registration process for hostel was very easy, it was quite affordable too. Hostel rooms were quite congested as there were 4 people in one room and very less storage space. Food in the mess was not up to the mark, just like any other hostel mess. It's kind of obvious and understandable. They needed to improve on this.
    Faculty: B.Com (Hons) was too lengthy a program and therefore even though I was getting that I chose B.Com. I agree we had fewer subjects and less electives but all the traits of commerce were there in our program. We were taught thoroughly all the accountancy subjects be it audit or cost accounting. Economics was a compulsory elective and all the traits of it were also there in our course.

    The infrastructure of the college is professional.
    Placements: Since this college is a newly established one, there are not many reputed companies that hold their campus recruitments here but still, the companies that offer jobs provide a reasonably good starting package. Apart from this, the students are also encouraged to start their businesses. There are quite a few students who have been successful in that.
    Infrastructure: For AC, you get washrooms for four people, a sink, a refrigerator, and sofas in the common room. In your single room, you'll get a bed, table, chair, AC, an almirah, and of course Wi-Fi. Sometimes problems do occur but they're sorted out mostly. Maid aunty comes every morning to take out the trash and will clean your room anytime you call her.
    Faculty: I would rate it 6/10 as the course curriculum was good but the planning wasn't. 3rd sem was made too tough with 4 practicals and only 2 theory subjects while 5th sem and 6th sem were too easy. These subjects could've been divided better. We had 6 seems- with final exams each sem. 50 marks for internals (presentations, mid-seems, projects) and 50 marks for final exams. You need 20 minimums in each to pass. The college has 60 courses. The college fee is Rs. 2,10,000 per year.

    Good placements, great people, good faculty
    Placements: Great companies came like DE SHAW, Nielsen IQ, Deloitte, Nomura, Tres Vista. Many students got placed and highest package offered was from DE Shaw. I don't know the highest and lowest package that was offered but many companies came and i know many students who were placed.
    Infrastructure: Smart boards, great classrooms, e library and a normal library is there. Canteen is also amazing. The location of the college is vile Parle, which is a great location as all SVKM colleges are nearby and it's a student friendly area. I would definitely recommend people to join.
    Faculty: Course is relevant, faculty is also very knowledgeable. It definitely makes the students industry ready as we do lots of presentations and are prepared for the real world by constantly being pushed to perform better and under a time crunch as well. Exam difficulty ranges from medium to difficult, Direct Tax was a very tough subject.
    Other: Lots of clubs and societies to choose from- cultural, dance, drama, sports, social responsibility, debating, vaayu, etc.

    Amazing experience overall
    Placements: Around 60% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 22 LPA while the lowest was around 2.5 LPA. Some companies that recruited students include DE Shaw, Deloitte, Nomura, Futures First, Tres Vista, etc. The internships were only offered to those interested in doing them in Mumbai itself. Everyone had the option of taking up an internship on their own in their hometowns as well. Usually, junior analyst roles are offered to B.Com graduates.
    Infrastructure: The classrooms were equipped with smart boards for teaching, WiFi throughout the college, computer labs in case of certain subjects, and a massive library for studying and completing assignments and projects. The college provides hostels to students nearby but students normally take up their own accommodation through PGs or apartments.
    Faculty: The teachers in the course were very qualified. They were also quite helpful. The quality of teaching was also good but there were certain subjects where the course outlines would not match with the final exams questions. The course outline is very relevant and up to date. The students become very prepared for their jobs as there is in depth teaching in the accounting subjects especially. The semester exams are usually moderate level. The internal exams are where the grades can be defined so its better to focus on those. The pass percentage was 40%.

    Honest college review on nmims Bangalore.
    Placements: So far, two companies have visited my campus and two students from my class have been placed. The highest package was 8 lakhs and the lowest was 5 lakhs. The top recruiting companies were Verity and Trestivia, and the roles offered were investment banking and analyst. Overall, the placement scenario doesn't seem to be very promising, and it might be harder for average students to get placed.
    Infrastructure: The classroom are excellent with AC Wi-Fi and round tables. The library is also great with availability of lot of books and journals, a great place to study and availability of digital library. There is gym a few indoor games available and football cricket and basket courts The hostel is great but food was average.
    Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, the course is very relevant to market needs and the exams and projects are conducted in a good way to understand students knowledge of concepts. The semesters in the college are pretty difficult compared to other B.Com. (Hons) since the questions come from CA textbooks and CA material. A lot of students have struggled to pass their exams.
    Other: The fest and extracurricular activities are pretty average in this college The course has helped with CA preparation and it is useful for anyone pursuing CA.

    A: 

    Yes, the entrance examination is a computer-based online examination to be held at the test centres. Every year SVKM’s NMIMS conducts the UG Entrance examination (NPAT) for class 12 passed-out / appearing candidates across campuses. 

    Q:   What is the minimum eligibility criteria of NMIMS BCom (Hons) course?
    A: 

    For NMIMS BCom (Hons) programme, candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent examination is mandatory for Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/ Bengaluru campus. 

    Q:   Does NMIMS have 100 per cent placement record for BBA?
    A: 

    NMIMS has a successful track record in placing students. During NMIMS placements 2022, the highest package offered was INR 10 LPA. The average package offered was INR 5.44 LPA. 

    Q:   What is the basis of the NMIMS Mumbai cut off?
    A: 

    NMIMS Mumbai will determine the merit list considering the marks secured by the candidates in their respective qualifying exams and entrance exam scores required for that particular programme. NMIMS Mumbai accepts the score of NMAT, NPAT, NMIMS CET/ SAT/ ACT /NMIMS-LAT /CLAT / LSAT/ NMIMS-CET for admission to various UG and PG programmes. To appear in an entrance exam candidates need to meet the respective eligibility criteria to apply for any of the programmes. To qualify the entrance exam, candidate need to meet the minimum cutoff score for that particular programme. 

    Q:   When is the last date of registration for NMAT exam?
    A: 

    NMAT registration typically commence in the first week of August every year. Candidates must complete the NMAT registration before the deadline to appear for the exam. Candidates who wish to retake the exam later within the current testing widnow are also required to apply before the last date.
