NEHU Shillong Course Admissions 2025: CUET, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. NEHU Shillong MBA fee includes various charges, such as tuition fees, admission fees, one-time charges, etc. The tuition fee range from INR 3,400 to INR 1.9 lakh. The hostel fee for MBA students is INR 11,900. The fee is from official sources and is subject to change.

NEHU Shillong provides a two-year full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) course in two specialisations i.e., MBA in Agri-Business Management and MBA in Service Management. Additionally, the university offers general MBA courses. 
MBA in Agri-Business Management specialisation applies business theories and practices to the agricultural industry to make it cost-effective, enhance profits and ensure that farm products are grown and distributed efficiently.
MBA in Service Management specialisation is a two-year postgraduate course related to management studies in the service sector for catering knowledge about developing strategies for achieving sustainable development. 

The admission procedure for the MBA course at Dibrugarh University and NEHU Shillong is almost similar, which requires candidates to complete their bachelor's degree with at least an aggregate of 50%. Moreover, for the selection process, NEHU Shillong accepts relevant scores from CUET PG/ MAT. On the other hand, Dibrugarh University accepts the relevant scores of CAT and MAT for admission to the MBA course. NEHU Shillong offers BTech in various specialisations for 4 years. Admission to the respective course is offered on the basis of Class 12 aggregate and valid scores in JEE Main. The University conducts an annual intake of 90 students. For a successful admission, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria by meeting the cutoff. At the undergraduate level, the university offers B.Arch, BTech, and various other courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the university provides MCom, MSc, MA, and various other courses to students. The eligibility criteria to apply for BA LLB is Class 12 with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate and the accepted entrance exam is CUET. The NEHU Shillong offers majorly two specialisations in MBA/ PGDM courses. To get a seat in any of the MBA specialisations offered by the university and its affiliated college, candidates have to follow these steps: 

• Visit the NEHU Shillong's official website to review the MBA programmes offered and choose the one that aligns with the candidate's interests and career goals.
• Ensure candidates should meet the eligibility requirements for the specific MBA programme, usually, the eligibility criteria contain, at least 50% aggregate in Bachelor's degree. 
• Fill out the application form with the details the university asked for. 
• Submit the documents that are necessary to check the candidates eligibility criteria, domicile and other relevant proofs, such as e-mail address, Class 10 & 12 mark sheet, graduadtion marksheet, passport size photographs, etc. 
• Pay the application fee. This can usually be done online. 
• Attach the scorecards of accepted entrance examination with the important details.
• The university will review applications and shortlist candidates based on their academic performance and entrance examination scores. Follow up on the status of the application. 

NEHU Shillong accepts students based on either merit or entrance exam scores. The university considers CUET UG/ CUET PG/ JEE Mains, etc for shortlisting. NEHU Shillong does not offers direct admission. Additionally, the selection process of MBA courses includes the scores of entrance exams- CUET-PG and MAT. Students qualify Bachelor's degree from the recognised university/ institute.

Yes, candidates can get admission to NEHU Shillong MBA courses without CUET-PG scores, because the university also considers the score of national entrance examinations, such as MAT, CAT, CMAT and ACPC Admission. Hence, if the candidate does not appear in CUET-PG they can get admission on the basis of these entrance exams' scores. 

Note: For the selection process it is necessary to appear in any of the entrance examinations, the university doesn't grant admission without an entrance examination score.
