The eligibility criteria for North Maharashtra University admissions is that candidate should have scored at least 50% aggregate at graduation (45% aggregate for backward class i.e. SC/ST/DT/NT/OBC/SBC/SEBC category candidates from Maharashtra state). For admission to this course, candidates need to follow the Online Centralised Admission Procedure (CAP) which is carried out by the university in the month of June.

Kavayitri Bahinbai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University was awarded with four star grade in the year 2001, a B grade with 2.88 CGPA in the year 2009 and an A Grade with 3.11 CGPA in 3rd Cycle re-accreditation in the year 2015 by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. As per the official brochure for the NMU BSc in CS course, the intake capacity is nearly 40. Students are admitted to the programme based on the sanctioned seat intake. Further, 70% of seats are for students who have passed qualifying exam from Maharashtra state boards and 30% for candidates of other state boards.

The NMU BTech cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BE / BTech courses for various categories under the All India quota. 

For the General AI quota, the BTech in Mechanical Engineering cutoff in the last round ranged from 158293 to 659752, wherein the hardest college for admission was G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management. 

On the other hand, Godavari College of Engineering was the easiet college for admission for the aforementioned course.

The NMU MHT CET Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BTech programme for multiple categories under both the All India and Home State quota. The cutoff was released in the form of percentiles based on the students' performance in the entrance exam. 

According to NMU BTech Cutoff 2025 for the General HS category, the cutoff for BTech CSE in the last round ranged from 47.36 to 74.98. Among all the colleges that offers the aforementioned course, the most competitive for admission was SSBT's College of Engineering and Technology.

Moreover, the highest package offered during NMU placements 2023 was INR 5.38 LPA.
