It provides good natural environment for study.

Placements: I studied in Rajiv Gandhi Biotechnology Center, LIT, Nagpur which comes under the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. In our batch, there were 20 students out of which 16 were girls and 4 were boys. That time there was hardly 10% of students were placed in our course which was not campus placements, as not any company had a visit to our department so there were no packages. The top recruiting companies for our course were Syngenta International, Zifo Infotech, and ICAR. There were no special internship drives run for biotechnology students and the top roles offered for our course were biomedical engineer, biochemist, and biochemist.

Infrastructure: The facilities were good, both digital and non-digital classrooms were available, well-furnished laboratories with a lot of space to work in, which provides a good environment for laboratory works. The library was good enough for studying with computers and internet connections. But there were no Wi-Fi facilities available. Hostel facilities were decent, enough spaces in rooms, normal quality of food in mess, medical facilities whenever required but lack of sports and games activity.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, friendly, well qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good, however they were not the permanent staff so it was not that they will get the same staff again. The course curriculum was relevant but our course was environment directed so no industrial directions. The difficulty level in the exams were medium, and the passing percentage was 48%.

Other: I was eager to experience research life and to do research and innovations this is why I opted for this course. The best thing about this course was that it gives opportunities in a lot of life sciences areas due to its advanced diversity. A good industry-directed part can improve it more. Only the annual function was celebrated there and nothing much if they want to celebrate more then students need to manage it all.
