All about Om Sterling Global University.

Placements: The placement of this university is decent, not too great, but they are very decent. Also, the placement cell is very supportive, and from time to time, they update us about the companies that are coming to the university for campus recruitment for internships and placements. They guide us through the interview process and what type of questions can be asked by the interviewer.

Infrastructure: The university provides various facilities like a computer lab, physics lab, science lab, and various workshops for carpentry, electrical, and civil engineering. Also, auditorium, canteen, and men's sports facilities like a basketball court, volleyball court, football ground, and cricket ground. The hostels are fully Wi-Fi enabled with a mess and washing machines.

Faculty: The faculty members are very supportive, and the faculty members are well-educated from various IITs and NITs. They are very helpful and teach us many things other than the syllabus, which are very useful in our daily lives. In a semester, two mid-term examinations are held, followed by two mid-term practical examinations, one end-term examination for theory, and one end-term examination for practical.

Other: I chose this university because, according to me, it is value for money, as it is a private university. I feel like all private universities are the same. The only difference is that expensive private universities provide a luxury feel with a lot of entertainment, while universities with a lower cost provide decent fests and a decent life. But the study is equal, and that's why I chose this university to become and upgrade my personality.

Review of Om Sterling Global University.

Placements: It's a new university, so placement rates are not so high, but the higher authorities are trying to make their placement rates good. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, etc., visit our campus.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. The campus has lush greenery. The campus is spread over 20 acres. Labs are well maintained. Wi-Fi speed is good.

Faculty: Our teachers are knowledgeable. Some are very friendly. They help us with our academics. Exams are average.

Other: Every year, our college celebrates an annual fest named Euphoria. Sports activities and many cultural activities are held monthly.

This college is not meeting expectations.

Placements: The placement percentage of our college is not up to the mark. Only a few companies are visiting the campus. The highest salary package offered here is 10 LPA. The students getting internships is near to null.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college are good. We have a canteen, hostel facilities, library, labs, computer labs, well-furnished classrooms, etc. The hostel facility is good. They serve north and south Indian food. Food quality and sports facilities are fine.

Faculty: Faculty members of the university are not so good. They always lack in providing teachers. The semester exams are moderate and the passing percentage is above average. The curriculum of the course is not relevant at all. They have not provided the correct syllabus pattern for a B.Tech student should have.

The college is good value for money, but I am not satisfied.

Placements: Approximately 30-40% of students get placed in the B.Tech branch, combining all branches like CSE, AI, Electrical, Civil, etc. The highest package in the university is 32 LPA. The top recruiting companies are average. No big companies come here. Companies that include TCS, Philips, Tata, etc., are mainly mass-hiring companies. Regarding internships, only a few students get internships from the university. Most students apply externally. Internships are mostly in small companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, with decent space. Classes have projectors, but they are used only once or twice a month. Otherwise, whiteboards are used. Labs are not well-equipped and lack resources. Even in CSE, computers are outdated and very old. In the hostel, the food is good, the rooms are good, electricity is always available, water is available, and Wi-Fi is available for 2 GB per person. The mess food quality is good. In the canteen, students can get everything from groceries to fast food.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Some teachers have excellent teaching quality, while others are average, not too bad, not too good. The curriculum is outdated, like in most colleges in India. Semesters are difficult, and cheating is strictly prohibited. The pass percentage is approximately 75%. Students can easily pass exams because teachers help a lot before exams.

Other: I chose B. Tech, because I have an interest in teaching and coding. The best thing about my course is that there is no shortage of employment if you have skills. To improve the course, they should add the latest computer systems and update the syllabus. Events and festival quality are bad, like school-level celebrations on 15th August. The campus is good, seniors are super friendly, and ragging does not exist, which is a big plus. Discipline rules are very strict.
