I am satisfied with this college. Placements in our college are not good.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. Only a few companies visit our college to recruit students. Out of 100 students, only 10 students get placement. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 4.50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.30 LPA. Not a single student got an internship here.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility in classrooms and labs. In the library, a Wi-Fi facility is available. The hostel is quite good and well-furnished. The hostel provides about 2 students sharing rooms. The hostel has one chair, one table, bed and Almirah for every student. The food is available in a mess. The quality of food served is very good. The football ground is available. Our college provides a separate hostel for both girls and boys. Medical facilities are available 24x7. Labs are up to mark.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They use good teaching methods. The quality of teaching is awesome. Lab attendants are always helpful in doing experiments, and they are well-qualified. In mechanical engineering, when you pass out, you are always ready for the industry at a well-respected post. Semester exams are not difficult. About 40% marks are required to clear the exams.
Other: I have chosen this course because I always want to become a mechanical engineer. I am currently working in the private sector. The campus is huge, and it is not too much crowded. The connectivity is very good as it is situated only 10 to 12 kilometres from the Hisar bus stand also on the Hisar to Chandigarh route. So the bus service is very good. Every year events, freshers party and games competitions are conducted here. For BPL students, scholarships are provided by the university.
