Review of Parul University by a biotech student!
Placements: Pu in Vadodara has an active placement ecosystem, but the hype doesn't always match the reality on the ground - context matters. Official reports show over 2200 companies participating in recent placement drives. The highest package recently reported was 45.9 LPA, and the average was around 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Pu's infrastructure is generally rated good to solid by many students. It features a spacious campus with multiple academic blocks, libraries, laboratories, and sports facilities. The department trends are well-equipped, and classrooms are maintained with projectors and digital boards in place.
Faculty: There is mixed teaching quality. Students reported that many teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive, especially in some streams where they make efforts to explain concepts in depth. Some teachers also bring practical insights and attempt to connect theory with industry tasks.
Other: Nothing more to say, but choosing a university is quite difficult, so choose any university at your own risk!

It has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The package offered for B.Sc is not high, but the M.Sc students get a package of 10LPA. For other courses, the package offered is high. In Parul University, the maximum salary package this year is 60 LPA. After B.Sc., we have to do M.Sc to get a good package. Recruiting companies for our course are Amul, Sun Pharma, etc. College gives us 2 options, one is industries, and the second is research in Hons.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Classes of applied sciences are not that well-maintained in the summer. There is a problem, but overall it is very good. Labs are good, and all equipment is well-maintained. There is a special lab for microbiology, food technology, forensics, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, not all, but most of them are. The course curriculum is relevant. They also conduct industry visits. Most of the faculty members have graduated from reputed colleges like JNU, BHU, IIT, etc. They help us to solve the question and understand the topic. Sometimes, a few things feel like we are still in school because of rules and regulations.

Good campus life, and I loved the campus.
Placements: Placement percentage varies according to course and year. The university has thousands of recruits visiting every year, and the number is increasing. There are many training sessions and helping in this whole process, and I have not graduated yet, but the final outcome depends on skill and preparation.
Infrastructure: Hostels had Wi-Fi, and well-maintained rooms in both college and hostel, and facilities are very good depending on your needs. Students interested in sports can play as the ground is also made, so it’s not only about studies but also to boost your extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Exams are quite strict, and the semester also includes other subjects, which we can explore outside of our course, learn new skills, and make us stand out among competitors, and make us confident. Teachers are always helpful, and ready to solve our doubts and help us out.
Other: Best campus life and best crowd to me personally. I chose this course because I was very interested in Biology, that’s why it became my obvious choice to choose this specific course. Talking about events, there are many, so I can enjoy, relax, and have fun besides my curriculum.

It has good placements, vibrant campus life, and supportive faculty members.
Placements: Placements at our campus are very good, as many of our students have been placed through our campus recruitment. The highest package offered is 18 LPA on our campus. The average package offered is 6.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc., hire students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is stunning, and we will find it vibrant here. The campus has a good Wi-Fi facility and modern computer labs. We will find many libraries across the campus, which help students in maintaining a good studying environment. The campus also has a gym with high-quality facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and supportive. We can approach them even after a lecture to address our doubts. They clear every concept thoroughly. With regular attendance and consistency, we can perform well and score up to 80 to 90 percent of marks.
Other: The campus life is really stunning. The course offers excellent value for money considering the quantity of education, faculty support, infrastructure, and placements.

It has great infrastructure and well-qualified faculty members with proper knowledge and experience.
Placements: The B.Sc. in Biotechnology course gives good placements after COVID-19. In my college, some top companies like SunPharma, Alembic, etc., hire students. The top role offered in this course is to become a scientist after good research, and we may discover new things.
Infrastructure: In the B.Sc. in Biotechnology course, there are several labs and chemicals for our experiments. There is a proper manual for everything, on how to handle, how to use, etc. There is a library for us to self-study, and everywhere Wi-Fi is available. On campus, there are security guards to help us.
Faculty: In my college, teachers encourage us to gain knowledge. They help us in every possible way. Exams are counted in a proper way. Teachers give us proper insights into our course and their topics. They also take us on an industrial trip for proper and better knowledge.
Other: The campus is very splendid. I like the way they teach us. I am willing to suggest more people to take admission in this college.

Hostel is bad, placements are mid, campus is really good, hostel food is mid again.
Placements: Placement isn’t really bad in my course. I do see posters and stuff of people who are placed in good companies, so I think it’s good. I don’t really know about the package value. Top companies were Indian Oil, Infosys, and mainly pharma companies too. People get internships in different companies. I found internships in Corizo. Top roles are lab assistant, lead assistant, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay. There are fans but no ACs, so it gets noisy and hot, especially in summers. Overall infrastructure is really good. It has a library, study room, labs, and they are pretty good too. Mess food is mid. They have added digital boards and better video players, and it’s done.
Faculty: Teachers are good, I’d say they teach well. The thing is, the semester should be 6 months, but they finish everything in about 5 months only, and the last month is just exams and holidays, which is kind of bad. Exams are good and well graded. The pass percentage is 60 percent for my course.
Other: I loved biotechnology and genetic engineering, and I really wanted to do stuff after learning all this. Biotech would help the world a lot. It could heal the world. We could engineer medicine and people to make them better. The thing I want to get improved is just better study methods. Events and all do take place, but I just don’t take part in them.

Our college is fantastic, aesthetic, and stunning.
Placements: Placements are nice. Students do fine jobs easily. It depends on students' CGPA and how they grasp the practical form of work. The highest salary package offered is 60 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies for biotechnology are Elilily, Sun Pharma, and Kedla.
Infrastructure: Facilities are nice and helpful. The infrastructure of the university is on top. It is the best and looks aesthetic. Wi-Fi here is quite unstable. It comes in between jungles. Classrooms are not very nice as they don't provide air conditioning. The faculty library is very nice and decent.
Faculty: Teachers depend on how they explain. They get a lot of respect from students. If they are not nice or in explaining, they don't get respect. If they are rude to students, students will not like those things for sure.
Other: Our course is nice, but in India, there is not that much on-pick. It is growing on a vast verge, but the scope of this is available outside more.

Good placements, awarded as the best university in Gujarat and has grabbed the best campus award.
Placements: Only 1-2 students get placements in my course. The package offered is about 2 LPA. Mercury labs, alembic, Sunpharma, etc. are the companies in which we can get employment. Roles offered are related to researcher, professor, lab assistant, etc.
Infrastructure: Every facility is provided by the university like good and huge classrooms, free Wi-Fi, a disciplined and informative library, labs having every useful equipment, etc.. Hostel facilities are good enough. Food, the discipline, medical requirements, everything is provided in the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified holding Ph.D. degrees and are very friendly and knowledgeable. The course is definitely relevant and you can get more knowledge from the college library as well. The exams are not that difficult, they can be passed by an average student. The pass percentage is 35 marks out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because it includes a vast area of Science in which every subject is included and it teaches us deep about Biology. This is definitely an upcoming course. A lot of events take place in our college. Almost every week there is some or the other event. The campus is just amazing.
