Fully recommended college for the VFX field.

Placements: My seniors are having placements in Mumbai, and the placement ratio they have is also good. They are having placements in studios like Assemble and DNEG. Some are getting direct jobs, and some are getting set as a trainee. Some of my seniors get paid internships there.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, they have digital boards and projectors in the classroom. The tables and chairs are in good condition, have a sound lab, mac lab, and a computer lab for VFX student which has the latest graphics card, an RTX 5070 in it, and i9 processors in it.

Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and helpful in solving doubts, and there are faculty members who have already worked in studios, and sometimes they call guest faculty to take some special lecture of the specific specialisation. As my department is Design, we don't have theory exams, we have a jury.

Other: My course is B.Sc. IN VFX, I chose this course because I want to be an FX artist. In it, I get to make simulations like water, fire, explosions, and all. I want to work in Hollywood studios and work there as an FX artist.

Parul University is one of best colleges in Gujarat and has top company placement, which is good.

Placements: Most students have been placed. The highest package is 60 LPA and the lowest package is 3-4 LPA. Google is one of the top recruiting companies. Most students get internships, some at TCS and some in top companies. Data Analyst is the most offered roles. There are many other job roles also.

Infrastructure: We have AC classrooms, labs, and a canteen. The food in my hostel is good, with proper cleanliness maintained. They have a very good menu and the staff are very good. Sunday special menu is also available, and the sweets are good too. Campus has different sports activities.

Faculty: Teachers are well-trained and knowledgeable. The courses are up-to-date and follow the latest curriculum. Students are provided with workshops so they can know about the industry market trends and domains. Exams are a little tough, but it is good for knowledge testing.

The college is good for animation and VFX.

Placements: Companies which come for placements are very poor in general. They offer the bare minimum to freshers. Students are mostly dependent on their own demo reels and work for placements and job titles they acquire. Roles can be vast after completing the course. In this field, students can't rely on college for placements. You have to make your own way and work. You can get a decent job or anything like that.

Infrastructure: Parul University has good visual and board classes and well-furnished classrooms. There are many interesting and knowledgeable books in the library. Mess food is kind of alright but healthy. Hostel rooms are also comfortable and have a vast variety to choose from according to students' accordance. The infrastructure of our course is the best. We are provided with every suitable system to learn.

Faculty: Faculty members are the best in our course. We are provided with practical exposure in our field. We are sent to various studios and industrial visits also. Internals are held every month for better understanding and learning of each unit present in syllabus. External marks are granted in a fair manner. Every course is available here.

Other: The college is very cheerful and fun.

This college is average in all aspects.

Placements: More than 70% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. The top courses are CSE, mechanics, robotics, and management. Around 60% of students get internships. If students use their opportunities well, then they will be selected.

Infrastructure: The facilities are good but some are not. Wi-Fi sometimes troubles students. Hostel gate closing time is only up to 9.30 PM. The mess is not good and the food is all sweet, because of Gujrat. I have not found any coaches in a practice session on the ground. The medical facilities are good.

Faculty: Some teachers are clarifying doubts, but not so hard to pass in semester, students have to attend classes. In some cases, two divisions will combine for the whole semester then students will get difficult to understand because more than 150 students are present in a single class. Industry opportunities are more but students have to pay extra money.

Other: I opted for this course, because it is useful in the future very much. The events are very good, but students cannot enjoy them.

What is the fees, placement scenario and cutoff at Parul University for B.Sc. in Animation and Visual Effects?

Parul university is private university in gujrat. The fees is 85000 for one year. There is no minimum cut off, you can get admission if you fulfill the eligibility criteria. Companies visit every year and you can get annual ctc 7-8 lakhs.
