Yes, PMIST (formerly knows as PMU) offers BCom as a UG-level course in the full-time mode. Students can choose from five courses leading to BCom degree. These courses are BCom,  BCom with Computer Application, BCom in Professional Accounting, BCom in Corporate Secretaryship and BCom (Hons). Admission to these courses is based on merit in Class 12 and the availability of seats for the chosen specialisation. The PMU BCom tuition fee ranges between INR 50,000 and INR 1.07 Lakh. The the highest package and average package offered during Periyar Maniammai University placements 2023 were INR 6 LPA and INR 2.50 LPA, respectively. Yes, Periyar Maniammai University offers scholarship to deserving and meritorious students. Scholarships for each candidate will be decided based on the marks scored in Class 12 and in JEE or equivalent or PMIST Entrance Test for BTech programmes (Up to INR 1.8 lakh). For the BCom, BA, BBA, B.Ed, BSc programmes it will be based on the marks scored in Class 12 and the PMIST Entrance Test. (Up to INR 15,000) The sanctioned scholarship will be given throughout the programme subject to the conditions that the student should have an all pass and a minimum of 80% attendance in the previous academic year. The decision of the management on the scholarship will be final.
