Not worth it study-wise, choose something else.

Placements: First year CSE here. Saw seniors' placements around 65-70 percent of students got placed I think. The highest package is 12 LPA something and the average is 4 LPA. Companies like TCS and Infosys come mostly. Some got internships at Wipro. Mainly developer jobs are offered from what I saw. I don't think there are so many people here that someone will get placed.

Infrastructure: Labs are decent. There are AC classrooms with their own PCs which is nice. Wi-Fi works most of the time but it is slow sometimes. The library is okay for studying. Hostel rooms are fine but the mess food is not great it is repetitive. The medical room exists but it is basic. The grounds are good for cricket and football.

Faculty: Some teachers are really good and helpful, others just pass the time. Teaching quality varies a lot. The curriculum has good stuff but the first year has a lot of unnecessary subjects. Exams aren't too tough if you study, most people pass easily. Not enough for the fees.

Other: Don't choose CSE because of a good scope in the IT field but not in Jaipur. The best part is the lab facilities and coding culture here. I wish the faculty were more consistent though. Fests happen often which is fun. Chariot was good. The campus crowd is chill, located a bit outside the city. Few scholarships are available.

Poornima University - Just another tier 3 college.

Placements: Placements are decent. Usually, companies offering a package ranging from 4 LPA - 8 LPA visit the campus annually. CRT is conducted for every batch every year right from the first year. Basically, placements are just like other tier 3 colleges in Jaipur. If you sincerely study, you will be able to grab a decent package as a fresher.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top-notch. AC computer labs are assigned in place of traditional lecture halls. Every student has their own assigned PC. Talking about mess, food is satisfactory and quality and hygiene are maintained well. Sports exposure is great too, regular trials are conducted for university teams. Campus has courts for sports like tennis, pickleball, football, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are same as in any other tier 3 college. Some teachers are really resourceful but majority of them have just completed their degrees and have little industry exposure. You can't really complain about this in such a college. Maintaining 75% attendance is another headache, students get debarred if they fail to complete it.

Other: If you missed out JEE or your rank wasn't good. PU can be considered only if you come from lower financial background. PU offers scholarships based on 12th scorecard, hence reducing the fee. Extracurricular and fests are great, no complaints.

Totally satisfied with the environment and fests. Infrastructure development is a little annoying.

Placements: In B.Tech Computer Engineering, I haven't seen placements exceeding 6 LPA in the past year. However, I receive emails regarding placements crossing 10 LPA, but they are from other Poornima colleges, although they use the name Poornima Group of Colleges.

Infrastructure: Hostel is good, but the food in the mess is below average. However, overall it can be taken. I can't comment on hygiene, as the food is prepared elsewhere and then brought to the college. The classrooms are good, and the big library is pretty good.

Faculty: Some faculty members are great, but some are below average, they don't even know much about the subject. The examination curriculum is great. They have 4 exams in a semester: the CIE 1 consists of Units 1 and 2, then the MSE consists of Units 3 and 4, followed by a project-based CIE 2 consisting of Unit 5, and the ESE, which consists of all units. They aren't that tough, if you study well, you are going to score well.

Other: I had an interest, and that's why I chose B.Tech in CSE. I think real-life experience and knowledge must be encouraged in our college. You are going to enjoy the college fest and campus, as Lakshya is one of the best and biggest fests in the city. The campus is great and currently in the development phase. Scholarships are there, and there are several clubs that you can participate in.

Best private college within budget with decent placements.

Placements: The placement opportunities are pretty decent. If you are an average student, you get above 4 LPA. If you are a good student with coding skills, you will get above 5 LPA easily. Placements are done through the Poornima Group, which includes PCE, PIET, and PU.

Infrastructure: There is a dedicated computer lab for the whole day for B.Tech, BCA, and MCA students. Classrooms are pretty decent, and the academic block is nice. There is a need for improvement in hostel food and infrastructure. There is serious development and construction ongoing to make a new academic building and hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are very nice, except for the higher authority members like the dean. Otherwise, the subject faculty members are good. Exams are held every month, so there is academic stress. But you will master it after the first year. The copy-checking is lenient, and you can score more than 7 CGPA with little effort.

Other: Scholarships and fees are good within the budget. Apart from that, fests are nice. Recently, current year, Sunidhi Chauhan has been invited on our campus.

It is good if we build skills at the right time.

Placements: Like talking about the passing batch, more than 130 students have been placed out of 240 and it is still continuing. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest package ranges from 3-4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys, Josh, etc. Pre-final year internship is 40% till now and still continuing because there is time. The top roles offered are software developer, frontend developer, Java developer, cyber, AI, cloud, developer, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course is pretty good. Labs are assigned from the second year and first year in classrooms. Labs consist of AC and labs look premium. The library is also pretty good with no issues. Wi-Fi is available for only hostelers. The hostel is not good at all but facilities like a gym and sports are good. A variety of food is available but it is not good at all.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable. Many professors are highly skilled and we will get what they explain. They are generally helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, but they start very last everything, which becomes jumbled. The university exams are not simple nor too hard. The scenario-based questions are asked. If we study, we can attempt them properly. The pass criteria are 35% in each exam and overall 40% at last.

Other: The best thing about my course is it offers variety and many opportunities for job roles, so I chose this course. I think preparation for industrial roles should be started at an early stage. There are a lot of events and also no charges at all. The campus is really crowded. Scholarships are also provided and many types of sports opportunities are also there. Extracurricular activities are also available like sports, dance, start-up opportunities, etc.

It is the best private college within budget and has excellent opportunities.

Placements: The placement opportunities are decent. If you are an average student you get above 5 LPA and if you are a good student with coding skills you get above 6 LPA easily. Placements are done through the Poornima group (PCE, PIET, PU). There is an excellent opportunity in this college.

Placements: Our course has a placement rate of 70%, with packages ranging from 2.5 LPA to 12 LPA and an average of 4 LPA. The top recruiters include Infosys and TCS. Around 85% of students secure internships in Web Development. Internships provide valuable hands-on experience and exposure to real-time projects. Alumni support also plays a key role in career guidance and networking opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our department offers state-of-the-art infrastructure with high-speed Wi-Fi, modern labs, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostels are not very clean but are well-maintained, with 24/7 Wi-Fi facility and AC. The mess and canteen provide okay food, not so much bad. There is no medical facilities readily available, but students enjoy excellent sports and recreation options.

Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, supportive, and well-versed in their subjects. The teaching quality is good, combining theory with practical insights. The curriculum is regularly updated to align with industry needs, ensuring students are job-ready. The semester exams are moderately challenging, with a pass percentage of around 80%, indicating effective teaching.

Other: I chose this course for its strong industry orientation and career prospects. The best aspects include hands-on learning, experienced faculty, and an updated curriculum. However, more industry tie-ups and live projects would enhance it further. The campus hosts vibrant fests called Lakshay, has a diverse crowd, good connectivity, and offers good scholarships.

Poornima University- Where dreams turn into reality.

Placements: Approximately 80% of students get placed in my course. Around 12 LPA being the highest package, the average being 7.5–8 LPA, and the lowest being 4 LPA. Companies like Flipkart, Josh Technologies, Mahindra, Accenture, etc. 75% of students are placed in Celebal, Josh, Bajaj Finserv, etc., in roles such as SDE and Data Analyst.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in labs and libraries, and all labs have the latest generation of Windows on their computers. Classes are well-ventilated, and the libraries have all types of books. The mess food is clean and healthy, and all facilities in the hostel, including medical services.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is relevant, with modifications made to suit industry needs. Semester exams are not so difficult if students study properly. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: This course suits the demands of my future and is very career-oriented. The best thing is that it covers all the necessities required to become a good engineer. Improvement isn't much required, with the only needs being a more practical approach and no burden of attendance. Events like Lakshya and Tarang are also conducted from time to time. The campus crowd is around 5,000 and very vocal. The surroundings have a green area. Scholarships are available in different tiers according to merit. Extracurricular activities include projects, industry visits, etc.
