University Hosts International Conference on Engineering, Science and Technology
December 24, 2019: Poornima University successfully concluded the four-day conference on ‘Recent trends and innovations in engineering, science, and technology’. The conference aimed to improve students’ awareness and maximise practitioners' participation from all over the world. Scholars presented papers on various topics such as:
- The adverse effect of LED on human health
- A comprehensive review of a microstrip antenna
- Research on solar technology, renewable energy resources, and power electronics
- Artificial intelligence including machine learning and deep learning
- Security and cryptography
- Digital printing and 3D simulation
- Interdisciplinary research papers on virtual reality
All papers were written basis primary and secondary research which ensured authenticity and also delivered meaningful insights to the audience. More than 60 attendees, visitors and faculty members participated in the final event. Poornima is hoping to reach many more such benchmarks that will help students develop their education and take them in a new way.
Poornima University Hosts 6th Convocation Ceremony
December 14, 2019: Poornima University hosted 6th convocation ceremony for all graduands in University Campus. University invited parliament member, Dr Shashi Tharoor, as chief guest of the event. Dr Tharoor appreciated the fact that among the total women population, 60 per cent received the medals. He talked about Indian youth making history. While our IITs are becoming comparable to MITs, there is still need for innovation and education in many of India's cities. Dr Tharoor commended parents and graduate students and shared his best wishes to students who are now on the verge of their next and most important life stage.

Poornima University national rankings for its BTech course reflect strong year-over-year institutional progress. The university is ranked in 2026 for its BTech course #53 by Times, #215 The Week, and #229 by India Today. Its ranking for 2026 shows an upward as per last two years rankings.

If placements are your priority, I would personally prefer LPU. The university has a larger recruiter base, stronger industry exposure, and a well-established placement ecosystem. Well MCA has good placement at Poornima University but i do not that have that much information for that you can visit their official site, but do not have that exact information , as a part of LPU i can lpu is best for placements and infrastructure as well
