The college needs major improvement in all aspects.
Placements: Honesty, placements in PJTSAU are very disappointing for B.Sc. Agriculture students. Hardly 10-15% of students get placed, and the packages are very low compared to the effort and years of study. The highest package is not even attractive, the average is poor, and many students are left without any opportunity. Internships are also limited and not provided by reputed companies, so most students have to arrange them on their own. Top roles are not clear, mostly sales-related jobs which don't match our core field. Overall, the placement and internship support is extremely weak and does not meet expectations.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at PJTSAU are very average and below expectations. Classrooms and labs are outdated with limited equipment, Wi-Fi is either very slow or not accessible everywhere, and the library lacks updated resources. Hostel conditions are also poor, with congested rooms, irregular water supply, and no proper maintenance. Mess food quality is bad, repetitive, and hygienic at times. Canteen options are limited, and medical facilities are minimal, making it difficult for students during emergencies. Sports and games facilities are also neglected, with very few options available for overall student development.
Faculty: Most teachers in PJTSAU are qualified but not very supportive or approachable, and the teaching quality is often theory-heavy with little practical exposure. The curriculum feels outdated and not aligned with industry needs, leaving students unprepared for real job opportunities. Semester exams are unnecessarily lengthy and stressful, with evaluations sometimes feeling inconsistent. The pass percentage is average, but scoring high is tough due to a lack of proper guidance. Overall, the course structure and teaching quality fails to make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose B.Sc. Agriculture at PJTSAU is hoping for good exposure, but the reality is disappointing. Placements are very weak with low packages and mostly sales jobs. Infrastructure is outdated, Wi-Fi rarely works, and hostel plus mess facilities are poor. Teachers are qualified but not supportive, and the curriculum feels outdated, leaving students unprepared for industry. Exams are lengthy with consistent evaluation. Campus life is dull, events and extracurricular activities are minimal, scholarships are delayed, and overall student support is lacking. The university needs serious improvement in placements, facilities, and student engagement.

Strong academics and campus life and need better placement support.
Placements: In our course at PJTSAU, placements are fair but not very high, around 20-25% of students get placed. The highest package is about 4.7 LPA, with an average of 3 LPA to 4 LPA, and the lowest is near 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Companies like Coromandel, Syngenta, Bayer, Godrej, and Adama visit for recruitment. Many students also got internships in these same firms, mostly in agri-sales, field officer roles, and project-based work. The exposure is good, but I feel more core research and industry-like roles could improve. Overall, the course gives solid learning, but placement opportunities need to grow stronger.
Infrastructure: Our department has decent infrastructure with Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a good library. Hostel rooms are simple but okay to live in. Mess food is average, sometimes good, sometimes repetitive, while canteen snacks are better. Medical facilities are available on campus for basic needs, though for serious issues, we go outside. Sports and games facilities are quite good. The grounds are lively in the evening, and that really adds to campus life. Overall, the facilities are decent, though the hostel and mess could improve.
Faculty: Teachers here are very supportive, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They genuinely guide us whenever needed. Teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant, though a bit more industry exposure would help. Semester exams are moderate. If you follow classes and prepare regularly, they are manageable. Pass percentage is quite high, so most students clear without much difficulty.
Other: I chose this course because agriculture has a huge scope. I want a career that connects science with farming. The best part is the practical exposure, field visits, and research-oriented learning. I wish placements and industry tie-ups were stronger. Campus life is fun with fests, cultural events, and a lively crowd. Connectivity to the city is decent, and the surroundings are peaceful. Scholarships are available and really helpful. Extracurricular activities like sports, debates, and cultural programs make student life more balanced and enjoyable.

Good learning experience with decent campus life but average placements.
Placements: Honesty, around 25% of our batch got placed. Packages go up to 4.7 LPA, average is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Companies like Coromandel, Syngenta, Bayer, and Godrej hire here. Many of us do internships in these firms too. Most roles are sales, field, or project-related. I will recommend it to my juniors.
Infrastructure: Our department has good classrooms, labs, and a decent library, plus campus Wi-Fi that works fine most of the time. Hostel rooms are okay, not very fancy but manageable. Mess food is average, some days good, some days boring. Canteen snacks are better. Medical help is available on campus, though for big issues, we go outside. Sports grounds and games are nice. You will always find friends playing in the evening that's one of the best parts.
Faculty: Teachers are really supportive and well-qualified. They explain concepts well. Curriculum is relevant but needs more industry exposure. Exams are moderate, if you study regularly it's fine. Pass percentage is high, so most students clear easily. Exams are conducted strictly without any malpractice.
Other: I chose agriculture for career scope and interest in farming. Best part is practical learning and exposure. Wish placements are better. Campus has fun fests, scholarships, active crowd, decent surroundings, and good extracurricular activities to enjoy.

The wonderful PJTSAU at a glance.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is based on EAMCET or AGRICET ranks. The package after this course is between 5 LPA to 10 LPA. Many seed companies recruit students after completing this course. Roles offered include AFO, Professor, SSC officer, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a huge academic section with department-wise. There are 10 departments on our campus. Near the academic section, there is a canteen and a ground to play on after finishing our classes. There is a well-facilitated hostel with more security for girls.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and friendly with students. They give their best in teaching practically. Mid-semester exams are held in the middle of the semester. Then, practical and final exams are held at the end of the semester. All marks are considered in the GPA.
Other: I have chosen this course to take part in increasing the scope of agriculture in our country. Different programs are celebrated in the auditorium every year, such as Traditional Day, Freshers' Day, New Year, cultural meets, and sports meets.

There is a large sports complex with encompassing facilities, along with a gym and indoor stadium.
