For admission to a two-year BPEd course at PRSU, it is crucial that each candidate meets the minimum eligibility requirements for the course as per the university's norms. Aspirants must pass Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education or any other recognised board. Further, they must have a UG degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate and a mandatory participation in any inter-college/ inter-zonal/ District/ School competition in sports and games as recognised by AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Govt. of India is required. The applicants have to submit the academic certificates and other important documents during form filling and admission confirmation as proof of eligibility.

As per the NIRF 2022 rankings, PRSU was ranked 78 All India and second among the Chhattisgarh colleges. The state university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Yes, PRSU admissions are open for UG, PG and PG Diploma courses for the academic year 205-26. Students must check the minimum eligibility requirements for their preferred course on the official portal. The selection criteria is merit based for all courses. However, the scores accepted by PRSU for the same differs in terms of PRSU PG entrance exam, National level entrance exam and Class 12 scores.

PRSU admits student on merit basis. For most UG courses and all PG Diploma courses, the university accepts scores of last qualifying examination.
