There are nearly six PRSU-affiliated colleges that offer BPEd courses. The duration of the UG course is from two to three years. Tabulated below are the names of the affiliated colleges:

Candidates shall first check the eligibility requirements. Admission to BPEd course at PRSU is completely merit-based. Candidates are selected based on their scores obtained in the last qualifying exam of undergraduate. Aspirants who meet the criteria can fill out the application form. PRSU BPEd admission form can be collected from the university campus or by visiting the university website (prsu.ac.in). Moreover, to submit the form successfully, aspirants need to pay a fee of INR 400. For online payment, fees can be paid through credit card/debit card/net banking. Additionally, for offline applications, a DD of INR 400 is payable to the Registrar, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. Selection is further merit-based.

The total amount of PRSU BPEd fee includes multiple components such as semester fee, caution deposit, library fee, admission fee, tuition fee, hostel charges (if applicable), etc. The fee structure is published by PRSU in its official brochure or on the official website. During the selection procedure in BPEd course at PRUSY, candidates are admitted in accordance with seat intake based on merit. The seat intake varies from one college to another. The below table mentions seat intake along with the institute names:

As per the NIRF 2022 rankings, PRSU was ranked 78 All India and second among the Chhattisgarh colleges. The state university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Hence, the issued degree is accepted almost everywhere. Furthermore, candidates with a BPEd degree can make a career in the field of sports and physical fitness. Admission process at PRSU is merit based, with the university accepting PRSU Entrance Exam/ National level entrance exams/ Class 12 scores for the same. Students are advised to check the exams specific to their preferred course that they must attempt, on the official portal of the university.

To apply for any of the UG/ PG courses at PRSU, candidates have to fill an application form along with paying the application fee of INR 400. The institute accepts both online and offline applications. For an offline application, aspirants can visit the university campus and buy the admission form.

Candidates must submit the scores of the last qualifying exams/PRSU entrance exam/national level entrance exams. After the completion of the selection rounds, students must attend the counselling process held by PRSU. Later on, round-wise merit lists are released for candidates who get selected for the respective courses at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University.

During PRSU placements 2024 a total of 19 undergraduate (UG) students and 116 postgraduate (PG) students achieved placements. The median salaries for UG students in their third year and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma) graduates were INR 2.60 Lacs per annum (LPA) and INR 3 LPA, respectively. For first-year PG students, the median salary was noted at INR 2.5 LPA. Meanwhile, the median salaries for second-year and fifth-year PG students were INR 4.55 LPA and INR 3.25 LPA, respectively.

PRSU allows candidates to join UG courses directly based on merit. The university accepts Class 12 scores for the same, provided the candidate is eligible for his/her course. however, for PG and PG Diploma programmes along with certain UG courses, PRSU accepts national level entrance exams and PRSU PG entrance exam scores. The course- specific entrance exams and their syllabus are available on the official portal. Students are advised to check the portal for the same.

PRSU application process is conducted in both online and offline modes. For offline applications, candidates have to get the form from the university's official website. Candidates can check out the following steps to apply online:

1. Visit the PRSU official website (prsu.ac.in).
2. Click on the registration link and download the application.
3. Fill out the application form carefully.
4. Payment of the application fee, which is INR 400.
5. Submit the application form.

NOTE: For offline submission, candidates need to accompany the application form with a DD of INR 400 payable to the Registrar, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. It must be noted that this fee is as per past years’ records and hence is indicative.
