Pandit Ravi Shankar University Raipur is one of the esteemed university which was established in 1964. The institute is accredited with A Grade by NAAC and approved by the AICTE. For most UG courses, PRSU allows students to take admission on merit basis without an entrance exam. The university accepts Class 12 scores for the same. However for certain UG courses and all PG courses, the university conducts entrance exams and students must appear for the same. Admissions to the above mentioned courses are merit based with the institution accepting entrance exams scores. 1. Application Process: PRSU application process is conducted in both online and offline modes. In order to apply for the course of their choice, candidates have to fill an application form either in-person at the admission office of PRSU or online on the official website. 
2. Selection Rounds: PRSU admissions is both merit and entrance-based. Admission to most of the UG courses is merit-based, whereas the admission to PG and Integrated courses are offered through the respective national/ in-house entrance exams. Following the selection process, candidates have to appear for PI rounds for some courses.
3. Counselling Process: After the completion of all selection rounds, the university will conduct counselling process for the final seat allotment.
4. Merit List Release: In the final step, round-wise merit list of the selected candidates will be released on the official website of PRSU.

PRSU allows candidates to join UG courses directly based on merit. The university accepts Class 12 scores for the same, provided the candidate is eligible for his/her course. however, for PG and PG Diploma programmes along with certain UG courses, PRSU accepts national level entrance exams and PRSU PG entrance exam scores.
