The best college from my experience.
Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 25 LPA, and the lowest was 15 LPA. Around 25–30% of students got internships. Our college taught us about technology, infrastructure, business processes, and historical topics. I never applied for any internships, but at the end of every year, the placement cell of our college invited more than 30 companies to hire new interns.
Infrastructure: The college offered hostel facilities for students who lived far from home. There were limited seats in the hostel, and you got a hostel seat based on merit and the distance from your home. The hostel was a good option for girls at Bharati College, as it was safe and provided good infrastructure facilities.
Faculty: The course curriculum at the university, followed in all the colleges, was amazing. The study of history became more thematic as soon as I entered undergraduate. This helped us understand history beyond just wars and kings. Faculty delivered the lectures professionally, as they were trained to do so, and they had quite good academic experience. They gave us assignments that we had to complete, and teachers kept us updated with regular updates on subjects. They were friendly with the students. I was very satisfied with their teaching methods.
Other: In the first year, courses offered by faculty and department were limited, but in the M.A. final year, the courses became more diversified, and specializations were introduced. Students could choose based on their likes and the subjects they wanted to study in the future.

M.A. in Political Science - Batch of 2020

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall best university for M.A. in political science course.
Placements: Approximately 64% of students who complete this course are placed. The majority of them were placed off-campus. Salary packages range from the lowest at 7 LPA to the most at 25 LPA. The BBC, CNN, World Bank and others are top hiring firms. Program managers and policy analysts are among the top positions. Nearly 60% of students are offered internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus. Classrooms are really up to date. There aren't many classrooms with air-conditioning. Library is excellent and there are many books available in library. Labs are kept up nicely. On campus, we have medical facilities. On campus, we have a cafeteria that serves delicious meals. Our sports cell are in operation. Hostel rooms are nice. During my time here, I have not encountered any infrastructure-related issues.
Faculty: Our teachers are very supportive, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is interconnected, preparing students for jobs. Our semester exams are fairly easy. Our researchers treat students very organically. They always try to help students. They do not prepare a very complex questionnaire. The pass rate is 79%.

The college curriculum is not per industry standards.
Placements: For the last 4 years, there has been no placement. No company came here for placement. No students have been placed in this course. The highest may be 2.5 LPA. In the last 5 years, the top company that visited our campus is TCS.
Infrastructure: The labs are not up to the mark and there is just 1 working computer. The Wi-Fi has been off since the lockdown. The classrooms are good and clean but there are no technical facilities there. The canteens are good but not clean as well. There is a central library in our college but the collection of books was not so good.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and some are not. No, the course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. In the era of AI, they are using manual work for any kind of project. Students are not ready for industrial work. There was no advanced lab advanced computer for designing. Yes, semesters are so easy. The passing percentage is 99.99%.
Other: I took admission to this college to become a graphic designer and get the necessary experience.

The students, faculty, staff and everyone is good and sociable and friendly.
Placements: I'm new here; I don't know that much. But maybe from 5th or 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements, as per the faculty members; many companies visited the university. As per the college site, 90% of students get placement. I don't know that much about internships at the university, but as per the seniors, students had a positive experience. Some students have secured internships with companies like Wipro, HDFC, and the Aditya Birla Group.
Infrastructure: So many functions, like International Mother Language Day, Kabi Guru Utsav, Basant Panchmi, Holi, and Naba Barso, are celebrated. They have a good central library and a separate library for the department. Not so modern technology is available there. They organize good sports.
Faculty: The faculty members are good; this is my first year, and I quite like the faculty there. Some faculty are strict, and some are funny. Faculty members are very approachable, as they said if you have any problem related to ragging or studies, you can talk to them. I think everything is good among teachers and students. There are exams held in the name of mid 1, mid 2, and ending sem.

The students, faculty, staff—everyone is good, sociable, and friendly.
Placements: In the 2nd sem, college gives the opportunity to join an internship at VI company, and in the 3rd semester, one more internship is offered. College internships allow us to earn money by doing that simple internship. The internship is from the college. In this college, there is less placement for all the branches. To be eligible to give an interview, you must have above 75% in 12th and never failed in exams. In each exam, you need 8+ CGPA. After this, you will be eligible for an interview.
Infrastructure: So many functions like International Mother Language Day, Kabi Guru Utsav, Basant Panchmi, Holi, Naba Barso, and Jorasanko Dibas. They have a good central library and a separate library for departments. Not so modern technology is available there. They organize good sports.
Faculty: In the 1st year, 1st semester, faculty treats you very good. After the 1st sem, the faculty shows their colors. Some teachers are good, but some teachers are average. Some teachers teach you better. The faculty members are helpful. The faculty and student relationship is good. All the faculty members are well-educated and good at teaching both theory and practical. There are practical exams, internal exams, and semester exams. Tests are also conducted by the faculty members.

The review of RBU, in Economics.
Placements: The facilities are trying to bring in some companies for placement. Some data science companies have come to campus to find students who are interested in data science or data analysis. They are seeking students who have chosen the special paper on econometrics.
Infrastructure: The classrooms at this college are well maintained and clean. There is no WiFi facility for students, but there is WiFi for teachers and faculty. The college has a smart classroom that is used for regular classes. The smart classroom is equipped with a smart board, projector, and other technology. The college also has laboratories and a large library with a lot of books.
Faculty: I attended this college and graduated in 2023. The course curriculum is very relevant, and the student industry is ready for it. The semester exams are really very easy. We just need to follow the class notes, and we will get above 90% marks. The pass percentage is above 95%. Most of the teachers are helpful to all students with a few exceptions.
Other: I am a student at Rabindra Bharati University. I like this university because it is very near to my house. The campus is well maintained, peaceful, and aesthetically pleasing. There are so many events happening in the university. I would like to see the university upgrade its faculty. Scholarships are available.
