I’m absolutely going to recommend Ravenshaw University for higher studies and a bright future.
Placements: Many passed-out students and seniors of our college got placements in very famous companies because Ravenshaw University provides the best study support as required for a student. Top companies are Tata, Microsoft, and Deloitte. Our college also has NCC in Navy wing, Party, and Battalion wing, so any interested students who want to join NCC can join it. This will help them in their future.
Infrastructure: All the hostel facilities are so nice, and also the staff and caretakers of the hostel are so humble and well-behaved. Hostel hygiene is maintained properly and very well. The food is well cooked, and the cafeteria is also very nice. The games and sports facilities and opportunities are vast here. We have free Ravenshaw University Wi-Fi everywhere.
Faculty: Every faculty member here is very educated and well-behaved. Their teaching quality is so nice. Our semester exams are conducted smoothly, and the pass percentage is 100%. When our semester exams are conducted, every staff and faculty member is very supportive. Even in cultural programs or sports, our teachers help us in studies and make sure to clear all our doubts.
Other: I chose B.Com because it is one of the best departments of Ravenshaw University, and I have an interest in business. Likewise, Ravenshaw University provides the best for me. Even in Ravenshaw, we get so many scholarship opportunities.

Satisfied because of good placements at companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, etc.
Placements: The highest package is 14 LPA, and the lowest package is 8 LPA. Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, and other reputable companies come here. 70% of students got internships from this course. This course is also budget-friendly. For 3years, 2 LPA-2.5 LPA is spent but will be worth it.
Infrastructure: The hostel's mess food is good. Better than average but a little bit less than good. Canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games, everything is available on our campus and hostel also. Computer labs are equipped with Wi-Fi. The library is also present.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and have experience of more than 20 years. The teaching quality is good. Group discussions are there in which students show active participation. Examination are held on time. Transparency is maintained during exams.

Review of Ravenshaw University.
Placements: Not all departments offer placements. The B.A. B.Ed program does not provide placements, while Computer Science, ITM, and IST are the only departments that do. Salaries for these placements range from 2.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. I would not recommend this path if you are seeking a high-paying job. Instead, consider pursuing a B.Teach, which may be more beneficial.
Infrastructure: Our university is equipped with a great infrastructure. The department is equipped with 24hrs Wi-Fi and drinking water. Also, there are separate toilets for teachers, males, females, and different able/especially able persons. I am a hosteller at the East hostel and it's a great hostel with every fatality needed.
Faculty: Teaching quality is not at all good. Although teachers possess their M.Ed or Ph.D. degrees, they are not at all competent. Although the course is curriculum relevant pursuing this course is very hectic and not so beneficial for your future job. Semester exams are not at all difficult and the pass % is 33%.
Other: I always wanted to study at Ravenshaw University. I chose the course as I want to be a high-school teacher. The teachers in my course should be more competent and teacher-oriented. Rather than just satisfy their ego, they should focus on the productivity of students. Campus life is unbeatable. Lots of dancing, singing, debates, and open mic events occur here. Yes, there are lots of governments. Scholarships for low-income students.

A really good college, absolutely satisfied.
Placements: Around 80% of BBA students were placed in our course. The highest salary package was 6 LPA, the lowest being 2 LPA, and the average being 2.6- 2.62 LPA. Top recruiters being Deloitte, Accenture, TCS, ICICI Bank, Wipro, Infosys, Genpact, EY, SBI Life, etc. 50 to 65% students receive internships in companies like Bajaj Finance, where roles offered include Assistant and HR associate. Top roles offered by our course are Call Centre Executive, Finance specialists, HR Assistant, Marketing associates, etc.
Infrastructure: The department is located on the west side of the campus near VC residence and is well equipped with AC and smart classrooms. The depth also consists of a library. Hostel facility is not available for self financing students on our campus. Ravenshaw University has a good mess and canteen facility. High internet speed, campus sports and games facilities, and libraries like Kanika Library and Centenary, and also e resources.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, most of the faculty hold Ph.D and are knowledgeable and supportive. BBA specific faculty are helpful, qualified and approachable. Faculty provide basic guidance and maintain a supportive environment. The course is structured and relevant. The course is structured with industry input, internships, and soft skills training. It is practical and relevant. The exams are moderate, not too hard, if the students prepare. Fundamentals are emphasized before exams. The pass percentage is 33% regular attendance is considered important.
Other: I chose the course because of subject interest, strong academics, and qualified faculty. The best part is the curriculum and teaching support. The vibrant campus life, events, and beautiful scenery. It is located near the railway station and bus station, making it highly accessible. Extracurricular activities include active student societies, sports meets, cultural fest, open mics, and publications. Scholarships are available, merit based via state national programs.

Academically, everything is good but it is not suitable for placements.
Placements: As this is an undergraduate course at university we won't get placed for it. Chances of getting placed increase once the student finishes their post-graduate. After post-graduation, they are working with OMFED, CRRI, and NISER and are getting into various reputed institutions for their PhD.
Infrastructure: There is fully functional Wi-Fi in libraries. We have AC and digital support in our library. Labs are well equipped with instruments. Classrooms are furnished and well-maintained. The food of the mess is manageable and it's average. There is a full-fledged working canteen on the campus. The campus has its own dispensary. For sports and games, we have an indoor stadium for the badminton and kabaddi. It has open gyms. There are cricket and football grounds volleyball and basketball courts. Many students have been actively participating in national-level and state-level competitions.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and skilled. The course curriculum is relevant for anyone having a keen interest in Botany. Semester exams are above average. The pass percentage is 70-80%. The course curriculum is not relevant, and it does not make students industry-ready. The teaching quality is above average.
Other: I chose this course because it makes us fall in love with the technicalities of the subject. Some infrastructure changes are expected in the department. The crowd is good enough. Fests and functions are the daily routine of the campus. The campus is lush green especially the 3 huge lawns which are best for the greenery of the campus.

Satisfied with facilities, campus, and infrastructure in 2023.
Placements: There is no placement system for Political Science students in B.A. This option is available for other streams and honors, like Commerce and Geology. As far as I know, placements are available only for Commerce and Geology students at Ravenshaw University.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good compared to the private hostels available near the university. Taking the expenditure factor into consideration, living in the university hostels costs up to Rs.2,000 per month, which is only for food. Additionally, you have to pay a fee of Rs.6,000 per year for maintenance purposes. Regarding the facilities available in the hostel, there is a 24/7 study room with air conditioning. High-speed Wi-Fi is also available 24/7, free of cost. There are also different types of sports equipment available for the boarders.
Faculty: Speaking about my department, i.e., Political Science, the faculty is highly qualified and very good at teaching. You will not have to go for any extra tuition. The syllabus is very relevant compared to the syllabus of different competitive exams.
Other: I chose this course, because Political Science is one of the core subjects of the UPSC CSE syllabus, and the syllabus is very relevant. Semester timings are also good. You will love the campus. At least one or two fests or events are conducted each month. About scholarships, there are various options available, and you can apply for one that fits you. Extracurricular activities are given the highest priority on campus.
