Overall, it is average in the case of academics but a 10/10 in the case of campus life.
Placements: Ravenshaw University does not give any placement or internship for under-graduates. We need to search for internships and apply. The internship and placement unit at this university is very poor. Top roles include teaching and content writing. Expecting placements at this university is not a good thing to do. The university only offers good academics and campus life.
Infrastructure: There are 5 classrooms and one big library which is known as the largest library of Odisha. Classrooms don't have AC but the library does have many. Hostel, sports and games, all facilities are available. The food is average. There are 5 girls hostels and 6 boys hostels. One canteen is there which is open till 6:30 PM. Meals, breakfast, and snacks are available there.
Faculty: Teachers are good, they connect with students and are available during college hours. The course curriculum is totally relevant and it makes the student gain adequate knowledge about the course. The difficult level semester exams are moderate. You need to get 30 marks out of 100 to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I personally loved this subject in my school days. I am very fond of poetry writing and like to utilize my creativity. I wish there were more classes about spoken English and practical knowledge classes. And of course, the events, fests, campus crowds, etc., are top-notch in Ravenshaw.

Review of Ravenshaw University.
Placements: About 60% of students got placed in our college. Students of ITM and DSM got placed in reputed companies. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte and Wipro. Students are offered good salary packages. Placements are good and satisfying for students.
Infrastructure: It is an old institution. The university surroundings are lush green and airy.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and experienced. They are very friendly and cooperative. They clear all our doubts, and it is helpful to have a conversation with them. The exam pattern is quite simple for students and makes students ready for the next level.
Other: This university is famous for its Spring fest. The connectivity is good, with a bus stand, airport, and a railway station nearby. We have a function every weekend.

You must opt for this college if you want to get the best graduation life which you ever expect.
Placements: It is one of the best universities in India and top in Odisha. The course which I pursued is literature, and it is the best choice ever. In this course, there are no placements, but other courses have the best placements in this university. Many top companies visit our university for placements.
Infrastructure: Our university is also named as Red Empire, and it is the best university. It is one of the most beautiful universities ever. There are all the facilities for students, and there is also an amazing library. The array is huge, and the hostel is situated inside the university only. On the left side of the university, there is a girl's hostel, while on the right side, the boy's hostel is available. In the centre of the campus, there are all subjects departments. Our college has a huge and greenery lawn, along with free gym and Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus.
Faculty: Every course has excellent and intelligent faculty members. They are highly professional, supportive and helpful. They use both modern and traditional teaching techniques like they show presentation and also use the board and marker for more clear understanding. Many times, our college provides us with guest lectures where people from renowned industries or senior lecturers from other universities conduct our classes. You will get in-depth knowledge of the subject if you use the resources properly.
Other: Evenings on the campus lawn are the most beautiful things you will see here, and you must experience it with the masala chai. Functions and events conducted here are marvellous and excellent.

Our college has a good infrastructure, high in history and heritage and reputed enough.
Placements: Ravenshaw University holds a reputation that esteemed companies visit here for placements recruitment. Our university has many technical courses which offer an employment opportunity for students in the final year. The salary package offered generally ranges from 2 LPA-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The department of English is one of the oldest departments. There are lecture theatres and air-conditioned conference rooms for us. The East hostel in which I reside has been provided accommodation to many alumni of RU. East hostel excels in every aspect.
Faculty: Teachers here are PhD holders, i.e., they are skilled and knowledgeable. Though our university faces a lack of faculty members some times, the quality of teaching has never been compromised here. The course curriculum is also very integrated.
Other: Ravenshaw University has a reputation throughout Odisha for its heritage and history. I was proud to be a part of the Red Empire. Moreover, as I am a student of English, it helped me to explore this field. But our campus lacks many crowd attractive activities, and I hope they will organise, along with the recent trends.

The college provides good infrastructure. The college is beautifully designed, but it is quite old.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements. Companies do not visit our college for placements. Roles are not offered to the students. B.A. in English is only a graduation course, so there is no campus recruitment for students. Students can opt for additional campus interviews, but the college doesn't provide anything, so it's a non-beneficiary course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the hostels. There are no language labs for students. The library is good. Classrooms are old with no furniture, and it is quite hot during the summer as there are no air-conditioners. The hostel is good, but the rooms are small. Food served to the students is average. All other facilities are up to date.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, and proper novels and poems are being added in the syllabus. Our course curriculum is similar to DU. Teachers who conduct classes are good, and we study on our own. Students get materials from the department.
Other: Our college does not organise fest. I wish the college should improve classroom facilities and teaching quality in our course.

Ravenshaw gives a wholesome environment for the development of students.
Placements: The university offers a reasonable range of placement to all its graduates and postgraduates. The students of professional courses are offered jobs by a number of corporate companies like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Induslnd Bank etc. Graduates from non-professional course are also offered the same.
Infrastructure: The sobriquet Red Empire sprawls over an area of 9 acres. The infrastructure is huge and comprises a number of academic buildings and laboratories. The Mughal styled gardens are considered iconic which jewels an ancient sundial. The well-equipped and spacious classrooms provide a student friendly aura. There are a number hostels in the university campus where more than 2000 hostellers are accommodated of each gender.
Faculty: In my personal experience, I could say the course curriculum resembles a lot with University of Delhi and is a lot inclusive. The faculty is definitely par excellence. All the professors, associate professors and assistant professors are qualified up to the mark. I have not known more helpful teachers than them.
Other: Every year the university hosts all kinds of co-curricular events like book fair, annual functions, food fests, debates, elocutions etc.

A great historic college, but deteriorating due to political interference.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students are placed. The highest salary offered is 2 Lacs per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 80,000 per month. TCS, IMFA, are the top recruiters. Recruitment is in high government offices. The salary package offered in our course ranges between 1 LPA to 2.5 LPA. Almost 40-60% of the students from our course get into good companies like Wipro, Infosys and others.
Infrastructure: There are great classrooms with open windows, 24x7 Wi-Fi connectivity. Classrooms are well-lit. There is an availability of two libraries, a central and another course wise related. Hostel canteens are great for survival. One could read and study quite properly. The college offers a great ambience and cool atmosphere.
Faculty: There are highly qualified and knowledgeable persons. They are quite helpful and educated. There are young educated lecturers and also some Emeritus professors from central universities. They are always ready to help. I am very much relevant to the course. It is surely helpful for further employment of the graduates.
Other: I had a certain like for English subject and wanted to pursue a higher degree in it. Learning about old literature to modern-day literature is great. They should provide a much more comprehensive syllabus, which would help the students. Regular events and fests are held from time to time. Scholarships are provided here.

Placements: 1.70% of students were placed in our college.
2. 15k per month was average salary, 16k-17k was the highest salary and 12k was the lowest salary.
3. TCS, Cognizant, genpact were the top recruiting companies in my college.
4. Associate and editors were the top role offered in our course.
5. The lowest salary was 12k and the highest salary was 16k in our course.
6. We did not go for internship, we were directly placed in the last year of our graduation.
Infrastructure: 1. We had libraries, cafeterias, medical rooms, arts lab, gardens, in our department.
2. The quality of the facilities available in our mess food, canteen, medical room, sports and games was all upto the mark and satisfactory for the students in all the way.
Faculty: 1. The teachers in our university were all well qualified, extremely helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was satisfactory and well managed.
2. Yes, definitely the course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry grow.
Other: 1. I chose this course because English was my field of interest and I wanted to study make this subject my graduation subject.
