CLAT 2026 Question Paper PDF: The Consortium of National Law Universities conducted the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 on December 7, 2025, nationwide. The candidates were required to mark their answers on the OMR sheet provided at the exam centre. CLAT previous year question papers are the most important source of exam preparation. The candidates are advised to solve the previous year's question paper to score better in the CLAT.

As per the official notification, the CLAT 2027 exam date is December 6, 2026. The candidates are advised to download the sample papers and solve them in a time-bound manner.

Solving mock test helps candidates to understand the exam pattern and also the sections they are lagging behind. With this they can rework on those section where they are scoring low. CLAT UG Question Paper Analysis (Previous Year)
Candidates can check CLAT question paper Analysis of previous years provided by Shiksha based on the inputs received from test-takers at the exam centre. This will help them to understand the overall difficulty and also what to expect
- Rohit, one of the students, said the exam was moderate, with Legal Reasoning and English as easiest and Maths as toughest. He expects a score between 70–80, and feels he has a fair chance due to his category.
- Utkarsh found the exam slightly tough, mainly Logical Reasoning, and rated the difficulty level 8 out of 10. He attempted around 110 questions, but isn’t sure about his score or cut-off expectations.
- Suhana said the exam was moderate but lengthy, with the quant section being the most difficult. She said there were multiple tricky questions from patterns and logical relations, and expects cut-offs around 95 for top NLUs.
- Faraz felt the paper was more difficult than expected, with Legal Reasoning easiest and Quant lengthy and more calculation-based. He is hopeful due to strong Current Affairs performance.

Yes, candidates who have registered for the CLAT exam can access the sample papers through their login credentials.
In CLAT Exam there will be 120 questions. The exam paper will be in MCQ format. Candidates will get 120 minutes to complete the paper. Since there is a negative marking candidates must attempt carefully.
Yes there is negative marking in CLAT Exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted if the answer is wrong. For each correct answer one marks will be awarded.
There will be no sectional qualifying criterion for CLAT 2027. The overall marks will be considered while preparing the merit list for CLAT. But to ensure a good score, candidates must ensure a high number of attempts with full accuracy.

No, candidates who fulfill OP Jindal Global University BBA LLB (hons) eligibility criteria cannot apply with a CLAT-UG score. This institute only accepts admission based on LNAT-UK exam. No other entrance exams are accepted during admissions to this course.

The Consortium of NLUs activated the CLAT Registration form on August 3. The candidates should note that the last date to register for CLAT 2027 is October 31. The Consortium notified that the CLAT 2027 exam date is Dcember 6.

CLAT does not give a fixed number for grammar. The exam is fully passage-based. Grammar is tested inside English Language, which carries around 20% weightage.
