Our college is an under-average college.

Placements: Our college is a government degree college. The placement facility is very poor, no students can be placed in a company, but our college provides internships for the students, Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,000 per month. I want to be a lecturer, so I continue my studies in Physics.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good in our college, only 2 buildings are provided for students' education. No hostel facility is provided by the college authority, and all students are day scholars. But the college authority provided a good Wi-Fi facility to all students, and labs are also provided.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, they helped us to study for the examination. In our college, 2 semesters are held in a year, and the examination is not so hard. The pass percentage is 60 to 80 percent, our college can't provide industry visits, etc.

Other: I chose the course for my future proposal, so I can continue my studies in Physics.

Overall, GMU's fee structure, infrastructure, hostels and campus are very good.

Placements: I am pursuing B.Com, and in our batch, there are about 400 students. Nearly 10 percent of students have been placed by the university. The highest package was something around 3-5 LPA, and the lowest was 1-1.5 LPA. The top companies that are associated with GMU are Infotech, ICICI, Wipro, HDFC, Infosys, etc. About 10-12 percent of students have been placed in companies like HDFC and ICICI from our batch.

Infrastructure: The GMU in itself has a very good infrastructure, which gives positive vibes. As you enter the GATE of GMU, you'll SEE a blend of infrastructure and nature which holds the feeling of satisfaction. Talking about other facilities, there are classes with a smart board facility. This gives students a great learning experience. Moreover, there are ACs and Wi-Fi available in class. The library of GMU is also very big. You can grab any book and start studying. The library is open from 9 am to 5 pm. Talking about hostels, there are 5 hostels in GMU, each one with good water and food facilities.

Faculty: In GMU, the professors or lecturers are very highly qualified and are very helpful regarding studies and other concerns. The course provided by GMU is relevant, and it fosters students' minds and makes them ready for the industry. The semester exams are not that hard, but it depends on you whether you have prepared well for the exam or not. The semester exams conducted by GMU are not the kind of moderate you can say. Neither too hard nor too easy. Somewhere in between. The passing CGPA stands at 4.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to explore the world of business, and I would say there's a little bit of influence from family business. The things I wish would be better about my course are the teaching, because I have experience, and there are some lecturers who don't teach deeply. They just try to teach at a basic level, due to which students' interest gets lost, and they stop coming to college by making it an excuse.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are average. The classroom is dirty, with bird dung. The library is present in the college. Basic medical facilities are available on the campus. The canteen was not in the college. Sports and games are not played.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable in their respective domains. The teaching quality of our faculty members is good, but as government professors, they are not interested in teaching much. The course curriculum was relevant. Placements: The placement in this college is very poor. There is no proper management regarding the placement in this college. There is a placement cell in college but they do nothing. We have to do hard work to get internship in the college. Seniors also get placed by their own hard work.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in this college is very poor. There is nothing in this college. The classrooms are not good as per the students. Library is very small and also the subject books are not available. Main problem comes with the hostel. The hostel mess area is very dirty. Not looking like a hostel.

Faculty: Very poor teaching quality with a not helpful nature, as well as qualification and knowledge, is not up to the mark. No, this course doesn't make the curriculum relevant and it doesn't make students industry-ready. Without the completion of the courses, the semesters take place.

Other: Infrastructure and teaching should be better.

Great 4 Years, major stress.

Placements: Placements for our batch are surprisingly good, honestly better than the hype. The training programs are really helpful, especially the workshops on aptitude tests and group discussions. They make a huge difference. Most people in my core branch got an offer. The big companies look for a high GPA, so don't fail to keep your scores up even in the fun subjects. The Placement Cell is kind of slow sometimes with paperwork, but they get the job done eventually.

Infrastructure: The campus looks great on the brochure and in person. Our department labs are fully equipped, and they actually upgrade the software every year, which is essential for our course. The classroom projectors are always working, which is a miracle. The hostel is decent, not luxury. Rooms are okay, usually shared by three, but the Wi-Fi is spotty in the evening. The mess food is the biggest letdown. It's edible but so boring. We all chip in for a monthly pizza night to survive. They have good sports facilities, though, like a massive cricket field, which is a plus.

Faculty: The faculty is a mixed bag, to be honest. Some professors are absolutely brilliant, super knowledgeable, and they really try to help you understand the tough concepts. They'll even hold extra classes if you ask. Then there are a few who just read off the slides, and you have to teach yourself. The exams are manageable, but the internal grading is where they get you. You need to score well in your assignments and class tests because they carry a lot of weight. They also have a ridiculous 75 percent attendance rule, and they actually enforce it.

Other: The campus life is awesome; it's the best part of this college. There's always some club meeting, a hackathon, or a sports tournament happening. The crowd is very diverse and friendly, so you'll definitely find your group, whether you're into tech, drama, or just chilling in the canteen. The annual cultural fest is the highlight of the year. It's huge. My only real suggestion for admission is don't stress over anything except your entrance rank. That's 90 percent of the game. Also, try to talk to a current student before joining, so you know exactly which hostel block to avoid.

Placements: The placement cell is not good enough. I am a pass-out student of this college. The college has no interest in placement. The college has a placement cell, but the placement cell has no work to do. Last year, only Q Spider came to the Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology.

Infrastructure: Surely, as I have lived on this campus for 4 years, the campus infrastructure is very poor and bad. There are no proper classrooms for the students. No Wi-Fi is available. No proper management. Labs are good. Facilities provided in the hostel are very bad, with no proper drinking water.

Faculty: Below average college. The college is called autonomous, but it is not worth it. There is no proper management for students. Teachers are good, but some of the teachers have rude behaviour. Paper checking in this college is very poor. Average paper checking.

Other: Good campus crowd. Connectivity is available.
