Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. Programme shall have a Master's degree of a recognised University with at least mentioned marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to NT/SBC/category relaxation is for OBC(Non creamy layer) candidate.
Other eligibility criteria
Applicants who have obtained minimum 55% marks(M.Phil,) in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed and passing the M.Phil. Degree. A relaxation of 5% marks, i.e., from 55% to 50%, or equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for SC/ST/OBC/NT/SBC/PWD candidates are also eligible.
