Prof. (Dr.) Gopal Pathak, V.C., SBU, Ranchi, the day's Patron, welcomed all the guests and stressed the need of reskilling and upskilling. He stated that society has suffered greatly as a result of the pandemic. As a result, it's critical to comprehend the importance of upskilling and reskilling. He remarked that everyone must keep up to date in their respective fields. He used the survival of the fittest as an illustration. He also emphasised the necessity of work-related resilience, tolerance, and flexibility.

The first panel discussed how to respond strategically to changing skill demands. The panel featured distinguished speakers who discussed the process of gaining new abilities or teaching workers new skills in detail. A career pathing program can be used to implement reskilling and upskilling initiatives in the workplace. Career pathing has several advantages, including satisfying future demand, identifying latent abilities, and creating a talent mobility culture.

The Second Panel was primarily concerned with the company's skill development. The panel featured notable speakers who provided a full overview of how to find people with talents that are similar to the new skills that the organisation demands. It offers a lateral learning opportunity. To bridge talent shortages, an upskilling culture entails teaching employees new, advanced skills. It engages team members in ongoing training and assists them in progressing along their existing career path.

May 21, 2021: Sarala Birla University, today,  hosted the HR Leadership Conclave 2021. The event was witnessed by the active participation of eminent industry personalities.

The first panel focused on the ‘Essential Skills Required for Implementing Industry 4.0,' with distinguished speakers providing a broad overview of what the future holds and how we can welcome it with open arms. The speakers underlined the significance of ‘Remaking the Skills,' since the new era necessitates completely new abilities. Only the strongest and most efficient will survive the impending period, dubbed the ‘Digital Tsunami’. Aside from this, enhancing mental wellness requires special attention. The second panel discussed ‘Redesigning the Curriculum in Light of Industry 4.0.' The panellists expressed their thoughts, which are extremely important and must be embraced in order for students to be future-ready. The curriculum needs to be revised so that students can become ‘Job Givers' instead of ‘Job Seekers.' They are committed to bringing more cohesiveness to the content and process of teaching. Students will need to gain an altogether new set of skills, which will be doable if appropriate changes are made to the curriculum.

The session was very interactive and informative

Nice college. It gives great opportunities.

Placements: Every 9 out of 10 students get placed every year from B.Com (Hons.) in Accounts. The average package is around 4–5 LPA. Companies like TCS, TATA Motors, Reliance, etc., come as recruiters. We also have internship programmes that help us learn practical skills. Different firms approach us for internships.

Sarala Birla University offers good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placements.

Placements: The placement record of SBU has been quite promising in recent years. Around 75%-80% of students across courses like B.Tech, BCA, MBA, and BBA manage to secure jobs through campus recruitment. The highest package reported has gone up to 16 LPA-25 LPA, while the average package usually stays around 5 LPA-6 LPA. The lowest packages are generally in the 3 LPA-3.5 LPA range. These figures vary depending on the course and batch, but overall, placements are considered good compared to many private uni...

A great college in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Placements: I guess in BBA there are a lot of students, and even in MBA. Because, for management, my college is good at teaching. The highest package was 14 LPA. All students get internships here. Our college provides internships to all students, and they also give us the opportunity to find internships on our own.

Satisfied with the university.

Placements: The course is absolutely good, but in SBU, it is the first batch of pharmacy to be inbuilt. So, in its place, it is doing very well. What else could be said about the passing batch, because we are the first batch of pharmacy in SBU, so I don't know about placement right now.

Placements: 70% of students got placed in my course. 10 LPA is the highest salary, and 2 LPA is the lowest salary. Godrej and Odoo are few top recruiting companies for our course. 90% of students got internships in companies like Mahindra, Nimbus, finance company, etc. HR and no idea about other roles.

Sarala Birla University BTech comparisons are best done with institutes around Ranchi. Some good examples are Usha Martin University and CIT Ranchi. Candidates can also compare institutes from outside Ranchi if they are open to the idea of pursuing BTech in another location.
