Not a good college to be recommended. The college is average.
Placements: Don't expect placements from this college. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA-5 LPA. Capgemini is recruiting company. Students got internships in IBM and Infosys. Roles offered are of developers. Not a good college to be suggested to others, please take the CS branch if you want to take the course in this college it is better than other courses.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi, no proper washrooms, and no proper systems are available. The hostels are not that bad but the food is good. No sports are conducted in this college. The classrooms are not that good. All projectors are not that visible. Labs are also not well-maintained, to be honest, not so good college to take admission.
Faculty: To be honest, teaching is average. It doesn't make students industry-ready, you have to study by yourself after college completion. Exams are not that difficult you can easily pass the exams. Some teachers are too good and they teach very well but some are not that good.
Other: I want to be a software developer so I chose this course.

Everything is fine, university doesn't matter. A good studying guy will study wherever he can.
Placements: Placement facilities should increase because less companies will come to this university. In 2025 batch, only 2 got placed in companies from college that is campus selection then what about others, so only I said no placement should get increased.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, no ought for it but make infrastructure as good as other state colleges have. There are no sports in this college. Even branch-wise competition makes students perform good in studies and sports too so please I request Sharnabasava University to look after it.
Faculty: Exam conducted will be great, no ought about it. But some examiners will sit as they are sitting at home while the exam is going on. If this happens, everyone can cheat in examination hall so kindly look after it. I am not talking about all faculty selected but the reason is one.
Other: Value of money is great here.

It provided good placements in 2024 but not in 2025.
Placements: In the 2024 batch, only 25% of students got placed in TCS. The highest package is 7 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. We got an internship at a Foxconn company, which is not that good, and the role offered is an assembler. We have got offers with internships from the software training Institutes located in Bangalore, providing a Java full stack course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and the library of our college are well-maintained. But sometimes we face Wi-Fi issues. Labs are good, but not that good. The component and the equipment are not working properly. But VLSI and computer network labs are good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. They are qualified with a PhD. They have more knowledge on ECE background, like antenna networking. But explain well enough. The courses provided in our college are industry-ready, but very few, like VLSI, embedded systems, and computer networks. The passing CGPA is 7. Exams are a little bit tough.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work in the semiconductor industry. From day 1 of my college, I started focusing only on my studies rather than on other things. The thing is, they explain only from the perspective of exams, and they don't go beyond the topic.

My experience at Sharnbasava University as a 2025 batch pass-out.
Placements: From the 2024 pass-out batch, only 4 students got placed out of 180 students in TCS and Accenture. The highest package was 7 LPA, which was given to only one student rest of the three students got 3.6 LPA and 4 LPA. From our 2025 batch, 14 students got placed in Infosys, only girls in the month of January 2025, and yet no one got an offer letter till now.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean and maintained daily, but most of the time, they are locked. Students are allowed in the class only during study hours, which are from 10 to 5. In some classes, the projector does not work. Labs are clean and well maintained, but in some systems, the software is not at all installed, and some systems are old. The library has been improved, and they have started maintaining books.
Faculty: Only some teachers are good at teaching and friendly, while most teachers are lazy and irresponsible. Out of 5 modules in a subject, they complete only 3 modules. They teach only what is in the syllabus, which is not helpful for placements. Some teachers are very busy and don't have time for students. Whatever you need to discuss, you have to do it in the class itself. Outside the class, only a few teachers are available. For passing exams, students need to cover 2 modules and 40 marks to pass.
Other: I personally chose this course based on my interests. It is very intriguing in the beginning to code and solve problems, but in the higher semesters, it gets harder and harder. With proper teaching and guidance, we can do it and get placed in a good company. As for the fest, it completely depends on students. The college gives permission for the fest, but students rarely conduct and fest.

It has terrible faculty members and management. It is a complete waste of time and money.
Placements: Only 10-20% of students get placed on campus. The highest package of all the years is 7 LPA in 2022. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting company of B.Teach CSE 2025 is Infosys. It offered a system engineer role with a salary of 3.65 LPA. Only training companies are visiting our college which includes Excel, Qspyders, Tap Academy, Pentagonspace, and Vstand4U solutions. Apart from Infosys, only Detlax came, which did not even select the students for round 2. so basically there is no hope of on-campus placement opportunities from here. Our college offers less than 4 LPA by major tech giants.
Infrastructure: Few classes have AC, and some do not even work. The CSE department has AC. The rest of the departments like mechanical, civil, electronics, and electrical do not have AC. They have installed drinking water, but it is not cleaned regularly. Sometimes, washrooms do not have a water supply. Wi-Fi is poor. If 10-15 students start using the Wi-Fi LAN for downloading laboratory-related stuff, it gets too slow. Labs are cleaned regularly but systems and benches are dusty. The library is not well-organised. I have read most of the subjects from the soft copy only.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful and not knowledgeable. There are just a couple of teachers who are helpful. Rest all are just coming to sit and watch movies and go home. The course curriculum is different from VTU. Students will not become industry-ready with it. Faculty members do not provide any format for the project reports and then blame and bully the students saying they are mad or lost. Basically, teachers insult us. Exams are not difficult but evaluation is not properly done. The pass percentage is 6.5 CGPA.
Other: I have to study here because of my parents. There is no such thing called campus life here. Basically, the college timing should be reduced from 10-5 to 10-3 this can help students study themselves at least. They are very rude especially since there are faculty members in CSE which makes us feel vulnerable about ourselves. They sold us in their native language. The college only takes money. For the study certificate they charge Rs. 500 rupees and for the course certificate, they charge Rs. 1,200. For everything starting price is Rs. 500. The exam fee is currently Rs. 2,650 per semester for the 2025 batch.

Quality education in a friendly manner.
Placements: Up to 50 students were placed from our university. The package was 2 LPA to 6 LPA. We got placement in companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Deloitte, and so on. 25 percent of students got internships in companies like Qspiders, Vstand4U, and so on. Software development roles were offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in labs and also in well-mannered, neat, and clean classrooms. The library is the best part of our college. The hostel is not that good when it comes to rooms, but when it comes to security, it is well and good. The canteen and medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They will teach for 45 minutes, followed by 45 minutes of revision, or we can write assignments for that class. The semester exams are difficult, but even though our faculty is teaching well, the pass percentage is above 85%.
Other: The faculty is good and friendly. They should not call us daily. Events like fests, Dandiya night, and so on.
