Sikkim Manipal University MBA is a two-year regular programme via the Department of Management. The PG-level course is offered across nine specialisations such as MBA in Finance, HR, Marketing, Systems, Operations, Project, Quality, Banking, and International Business. The programme curriculum is spread across four semesters and conducts regular training and development programmes for Government officers, professional managers, and students. SMU also offers an MBA as a dual degree and an integrated degree such Integrated BSc. + MBA, Integrated BBA+MBA, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science + MBA, and many more.

SMU MBA admission is entrance-based. The university accepts national-level entrance exams such as CAT or MAT. Candidates can opt for any of the entrance exams or the University Entrance Test to get shortlisted for the MBA course. SMIT Online Test 2025 Counselling is mandatory for students to participate to finalise their seats. Further, candidates' performance in group discussions and interviews is also considered for final admission.
Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate (45% for Reserved Category).

For admission to the MBA course at Sikkim Manipal University, candidates must complete the step-wise admission procedure. However, before applying applicants must make sure to have a valid qualification as per the university's admission guidelines. Step 1: SMIT Entrance Exam
Candidates without any national-level exam scores must apply for the University entrance test known as SMIT Entrance Exam. However, candidates with a valid JEE Main and GATE score can directly apply at the University’s official website. Sikkim Manipal University will release the SMIT online test application form 2025 on November 2025.
Step 2: SMU Application Process
The SMU Application process is completely online. Candidates can visit the Sikkim Manipal University’s official website and fill out the online registration form by providing all the details. Now candidates must fill in the online application form, upload all the required documents, and pay the application fee. The application process is as follows:
Step 1: Visit the SMU's official website, and click on the 'Apply' icon. You will be directed to the registration page.
Step 2: Fill out the online registration form with all the required details, including name, email, phone number, etc.
Step 3: Verify your phone number OTP/mail will be sent to your registered phone number and email id
