Just a decent college review .
Placements: There is no placement in the MBBS course. You get a compulsory internship in the attached hospital for one year in various departments to get hands-on experience of the job. Decent stipend of 24k per month. Good faculty members are very knowledgeable and always willing to teach and guide.
Infrastructure: There are 2-person-sharing and 3-person-sharing hostels with good Wi-Fi and AC (optional) with attached washrooms (optional). Lecture theaters are spacious with smart boards, projectors, and AC. The mess is decent with veg and non-veg options but can become a bit monotonous.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is vast and difficult but a very interesting and informative one. You do not get to save someone's life every day with all that. There are 2 internal examinations and 1 final professional examination conducted every year that test you on both your practical and theoretical knowledge. It's hard but not that difficult.
Other: College has various events like IMPULSE, the main college fest where students represent their respective batches and compete in various cultural, academic, and athletic events.

The college has very good studies with not an exceptional campus.
Placements: Well it is MBBS so at the end of the course you'd get an internship which pays around 30k for a year. The rotating internship needs you to attend the department you are assigned to. The hostel fee is to be paid by you only. As of now we hear that the internships money is going to increase in the coming years.
Infrastructure: According to the fees, the studies and teaching facilities are quite good here. All the classrooms are equipped with ACs and smart screens along with green boards. The labs are fully equipped here. All sorts of new and old facilities are available here. But the hostel facilities are according to the amount you are paying. Mess food can improve a bit. Other than that, the hostels have Wi-Fi system, lifts, etc. The library is good here, it has online as well as the offline books available. You also get an ERR to study in groups right above the library.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful. You can always find help as per the situation. The studies are very good and are taken very seriously. The exams here are also taken very seriously. The class tests are held frequently and sometimes there are surprise tests, so you really have to be updated with what's being taught in the classes.

Review of Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital - Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University.
Placements: Placements are very good. We need to apply for respective hospitals for recruitment. We can also prepare for PG or higher studies.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very good. Both air-conditioned and no-air-conditioned hostel rooms are available. The hostel fee for triple occupancy non-air-conditioned room is Rs 50,000 per month, and triple occupancy air-conditioned is Rs 90,000 per month. The hostel fee for double occupancy air-conditioned room is Rs 1,20,000 per month. Mess is very good. The mess fee structure is Rs 43,200 per year. The food quality is decent.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are helpful in all aspects. We have a skilled laboratory where we can learn different procedures. The course curriculum is very difficult. The course duration is for 5.5 years. We are going to serve the people so the course is worth it.
Other: It is a great college.

Review of IMS and SUM hospital.
Placements: Actually in MBBS, we don't need placements. We just need to work hard, understand our subjects and we are good to go. You need to apply for hospitals to work there and after that you will get the salary according to that which is around INR 60000-100000 as junior doctors.
Infrastructure: Hostels are quite decent as they provide multiple types of occupancy like- For 3 bedded non AC - INR 48000 For 3 bedded AC - INR 50000 For 2 bedded AC - INR 120000 They provide 24/7 WIFI and speed is also good. Even mess food is nice and it costs you around INR 43200 per year .
Faculty: Actually I want to just tell you that faculty of IMS and SUM is one of the best in Orissa and they are highly qualified. They teach you theory as well as practical aspect in great detail, which will build your future to become great doctors. They are just awesome.

It is the best private medical college in East India.
Placements: There are no placements in this course. But our college has a very good atmosphere for placements. Placements are great if you do good in NEET and PG. After 1 year of internship, you will get government or private jobs, as our Indian population needs more doctors.
Infrastructure: Our college has a hospital with a huge patient flow which is very helpful for clinical practices. There is a separate air-conditioned lecture theatre, and around 250 students can accomodate easily. Demo rooms, practical laboratory, etc., are also available. Library and external reading rooms are provided. Laboratory is well-equipped, and all necessary equipment is available. The hostel has 2 sharing air-conditioned rooms, 3 sharing air-conditioned, and non-air-conditioned rooms with Wi-Fi facility. Cassrooms and washrooms are clean. Each hostel has common rooms for students. The food served in the canteen is average. This university has 4 campuses. It also has 2 badminton courts, volleyball court, tennis court, cricket ground, etc.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and well-experienced. They also provide notes to students. The semester system is not there. After having 3 internal exams, professional exams are conducted. The passing percentage is around 60-70%.
Other: MBBS is a noble profession. It gives not only money but also satisfaction. A lot of fests are organised in our college. Many medical events are also conducted. There are many scopes for extracurricular activities. This college provides scholarships to those students who grab top positions in university examinations. Our campus crowd is normal as it is located off-side of Bhubaneswar. This college ranks 18 in NIRF.

Review of Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital - Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University.
Placements: Medicine is a field where you can easily get job opportunities if you know your basics. Our college gives us good job opportunities. The interns, after their MBBS, get Rs. 20,000 per month as their stipend, which is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is like that of any other college. It has large classrooms that can hold up to 250 students. Labs are spacious and have proper equipments to perform practicals. In our anatomy hall, we have a digital cadaver where we can learn new things. Along with that, we have actual cadavers as well. Hostels have air conditioning.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very good. They can teach us concepts and how to apply them in daily life. Faculty members help with suturing injections and basic life support. Our faculty acts as patients and teaches us everything so that we don't forget it in the future.
Other: The best part of our course is meeting new patients, treating them, and interacting with them on a daily basis. You learn so much that one day you will be able to save many lives. Our college conducts many events and festivals for our enjoyment.
