SRM Medical College does not accept direct admissions to any of its programmes. Students must either qualify for the entrance (if applicable) or clear the eligibility to get selected. SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre accept students on an entrance basis for some of its programmes, such as MBBS and MD/MD. To get into those courses, students must appear and clear the NEET exam and participate in the counselling conducted by MCI. However, Health Science course admissions are subject to fulfilment of the eligibility criteria. Students are selected based on their overall academic performance and the availability of seats. Yes, SRM IST, Chennai College of Pharmacy has a refund policy, though. The students have to note down their enrollment number with their payment date and present the same to the concerned person in the Admin/Accounts Office for writing his/her request for the respective amount. Refund of money is at the behest of the management as it takes about 30 days. However, they cannot refund the registration fees. All refund requests are to be made in person, not through email or even oral request. Once all documents are found correct, the refund amount is transferred by way of NEFT in a bank account.

Although these costs are significant, most students perceive them as investments in a fulfilling career because of the high job opportunities and salary prospects associated with the occupational therapist profession.
