Placements in CSE at SRM (KTR campus especially) are generally considered stronger and more consistent than CS at LPU, mainly due to SRM's longer reputation, stronger alumni network, and higher concentration of core tech recruiters. SRM attracts companies like Amazon, Microsoft, PayPal, Adobe, and other product-based firms, with better average and top packages, especially for students with strong coding skills. LPU, on the other hand, has very high placement volume but more mass-recruiter driven outcomes (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant), with fewer top-tier product companies and lower average packages. LPU does offer good opportunities if a student is proactive—hackathons, certifications, internships, and off-campus placements matter a lot there. In both colleges, placements are highly student-dependent, but SRM provides a more competitive peer environment and better on-campus exposure overall. If your goal is higher-end tech roles and brand value, SRM CSE usually has an edge, while LPU suits students aiming for broad placement security.

When comparing VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) with Manipal University, SRM, and LPU, the answer depends on what you value: academics, placements, or campus experience. VIT is generally considered stronger in academics, engineering curriculum, and consistent placements, especially in CSE, ECE, and core engineering streams. It has a well-structured curriculum, strong faculty, and extensive industry collaborations, which often give it an edge over SRM, LPU, and even Manipal in terms of technical exposure. In terms of placements, VIT attracts top IT and product-based companies, with packages higher on average than LPU and often comparable to SRM and Manipal, though Manipal has slightly better exposure in medical, health, and management fields. LPU provides massive campus placement numbers and scholarships, but the top-tier packages are fewer than VIT. SRM is strong in tech but has a larger campus, so opportunities can vary by department.Overall, for engineering-focused students aiming for good tech careers, VIT usually edges out the others because of its strong placement records, curriculum, and brand recognition, though Manipal is preferred for health, design, and management, and LPU is attractive for scholarships and a wide range of courses.

If you *have to choose between a B.Tech CSE (Honors) seat at Lovely Professional University (LPU) and a *CSE donation seat at SRM University, going with LPU CSE Honors is generally the more sensible option for most students, especially according to outcomes and costs. LPU has a strong and consistent placement track record for CSE with an average package around ₹7–8 LPA and many top recruiters visiting campus, plus occasional high packages, and a very large recruiter base — which often gives more opportunities without extra fees tied to donation seats . On the other hand, SRM's CSE donation seats usually come with high costs, and placement averages reported for SRM are often lower or similar to LPU when adjusted for fee differences . Also, choosing LPU's honors programme can add academic weight compared to a paid seat that doesn't reflect merit. So LPU CSE Honors is likely the better overall choice .

If you compare Lovely Professional University (LPU) and SRM University, Ghaziabad for B.Tech, LPU is generally the better choice overall for most students — especially when considering placements, industry exposure, campus environment, and long‑term value. LPU has a very strong placement network, with a large number of recruiters (including top tech and core companies) visiting the campus every year, reported high average packages, and very attractive top offers, which gives students broader opportunities across IT, core, and management roles. The university also emphasizes industry‑aligned curriculum, research projects, internships, and global tie‑ups, helping students build skills that employers seek. LPU's infrastructure, labs, and industry interface are often rated stronger than many peer universities, and its scholarship options improve return on investment (ROI) significantly. While SRM Ghaziabad does have decent placements, its placement rates and average packages for B.Tech tend to be somewhat lower and less consistent compared to LPU when adjusted for overall opportunities. For these reasons, if you must choose one, LPU is widely regarded as the better option for B.Tech.
