No, SRM Sonepat doesn't considers 12th marks for BTech admisson. SRM University Sonepat Admission to its BTech programme is strictly based on the entrance exams. SRMJEE is a national-level engineering entrance exam for admission to BTech courses offered at SRMIST campuses. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) will be held in 2 phases and in remorse online proctored mode. Also the University accepts National level exam JEE Mains for admission to its BTech Programme. So candidates are required to have a valid scores of the above mentioned exams. Admission without JEE is not possible as per the University's admission guidelines.

SRM is a great and life-changing experience.
Placements: The highest package to date is 50 LPA, while the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package for B.Tech students is around 6 LPA. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, and Puma visit our campus, and placement drives are held to recruit students for some of the top companies. There are different roles offered to students based on their expertise and how well they perform academically.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is really excellent and well-maintained. Classes are properly air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi is provided across the campus. Labs are well-maintained and are equipped with the latest systems, and they are also well-air-conditioned. Hostels are newly built, and the quality provided at such prices is like a golden opportunity.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and are always ready to help us if we’re stuck anywhere. The faculty is really supportive of students and is always with them. The course curriculum is completely industry-based, and the university also provides us with opportunities like industrial visits to learn about the wide world that is out there. They help us become industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, and if studied regularly, one can achieve good grades. However, studying the night before an exam might not be effective.

The infrastructure and campus life are really good.
Placements: The highest package till date was 50 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average for B.Tech was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Amazon, Lava, Cognizant, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Puma, Swiggy, etc. The top roles offered were Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for everyone across the whole campus. Labs are fully equipped with the latest PCs. Classrooms are well-maintained with projectors and screens for a digital classroom experience. The library is also equipped with all necessary books and journals, and students can issue books from the library to study and read. Medical facilities are available, with a hospital inside the campus. The hostels are well-maintained and hygienic, and the mess food is decent. A gym is also available for hostel students.
Faculty: Teachers are well-experienced and knowledgeable. They are very professional and approachable for every student. The teaching quality is good and understandable. The course curriculum is also relevant to the subjects. However, it somewhat lacks a practical approach to the subject, which may not make a student industry-ready, but it also depends on how much the student can grasp from the curriculum. Otherwise, the curriculum is sufficient. Exams are of medium difficulty, and to be eligible for the end-semester exams, you need 50% marks in internals and 75% attendance in every subject.

Dissatisfied because of faculty, internship, and placement. But infrastructure is good.
Placements: The highest package is 35 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. A 7 CGPA is mostly required, but there aren’t many criteria for placement. You will get a low-package job if you have a low CGPA. There are no internships provided by the college. Only labs with top Mac computers are available. Top companies do visit the campus.
Infrastructure: Labs and classes are superb, and hostels are toot expensive than they they provide. The medical facility is okay. Sports and food facilities are good. And canteens are excellent. There are four places or cafes in the college. The Wi-Fi is okay, not great, but the library is excellent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Regarding studies or industry level, it's too bad, and don't recommend specializing here. As there are no classes for specialization, only online classes throughout the entire semester, we get just four classes, which are not very useful. So, I would say the studies are not great.
Other: I chose this course because it is helpful for getting a job. There are events and fests, but they are not very enjoyable. The crowd is also good. A 100% scholarship is available, but if your CGPA falls below 7, your scholarship is reduced, and you have to maintain your CGPA. There are many extracurricular activities and societies, but there are not many opportunities.

Why you should take admission in SRM Sonipat?
Placements: The average placement on the campus was not much, and it is shown that most of the placements are off-campus. Many of the students are pursuing off-campus placements rather than on-campus placements. The average package for my course is 10 LPA, which is very less.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good, but the college is undergoing construction, which has been going on for many years. Due to this, many parts of the college are blocked by those constructions, making it difficult to access various places easily.
Faculty: The exams are very hard, and the faculty is very strict. Some faculty members are very good, but some are very irrelevant and are not at all supporting. The curriculum is good but not as good when compared to other colleges, as they support the basic old Indian education system.

Good placements in 2022 year.
Placements: More than 30% students placed in campus interview till now. The highest packede is 8 LPA and the lowest is 3.6 and average is 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are tcs, BOSCH, Cognizant, IBM, Hexaview, Xebia, LTI, Tech Mahindra and many more. 30% students get internship in small companies. The roles offered in my cource are Associate software engineer, Software Developer, Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi facility with good internet speed. We have more than 15 IT labs and each lab have Wi-Fi access. Our college also have a library and a digital library where you can learn about new things on your own. Our college is also have a projector facility in every classroom for presentations.
Faculty: They are supportive. Teaching quality is also good. Our curriculum is quite good because we have basic technical knowledge of current technology which is covers in our curriculum. Semester exams are also good. Our passing percentage are 80-90%.
