DCRUST college review by a DCRUST student.
Placements: The placement of the DCRUST Murthal is average. The placement of the CSE branch is better than that of other branches, and the placement of electrical is also good, but the placement of the lower branches is not good. The average placement of CSE is 7 LPA, and the highest off-campus placement is 26 LPA by 1 student.
Infrastructure: The university has good infrastructure, and there are a total of 7 hostels in the college: 4 for boys and 3 for girls. All the hostels have good facilities, all the hostels are well maintained, and there are good labs in the college, and all the labs have internet and AC facilities.
Faculty: The curriculum of college is old, and there are two mid-semester exams followed by 1 end semester exam. There are 75 marks in the end-of-semester exam, and there is a 75% attendance criterion for all the branches. If you do not fulfil the requirements, you will be excluded from the exam. The faculty is very supportive.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in it. There is also a festival conducted in the college.

Honest review of DCRUST college
Placements: Placement of the university for the CSE branch is good compared to the other branches because in the CSE branch, almost every company visits the college. The placement of the CSE branch is about 6 LPA, which is approximately the highest among the other branches.
Infrastructure: There are a total of 7 hostels in the university, with 4 boys' hostels and 3 girls' hostels. In every hostel, there are a total of 300 rooms. In the boys' hostels, there are both single and double rooms, while in the girls' hostels, the rooms are shared.
Faculty: Faculty of the university is well-qualified. All the faculty of the university have a Ph.D. in their subject. All the faculty of the university have vast knowledge in their subject, and the faculty is helpful in nature. There are two mid-semester exams in every semester.
Other: College conducts a fest every year, which includes both technical and cultural events.

Just dissatisfied with placements here.
Placements: I am currently a CSE student at DCRUST. Here, placement is not very good, the ratio of selection percentage is declining. Although the staff is good and the placement offices are also good, companies do not come here. The students here are good and mostly are from Haryana.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not good here, the rooms are in bad condition, and the food of the mess is also not up to the point. The hostel washrooms are in poor condition and not good. The staff of the hostel is good and supportive. You will not feel good in the starting, but as time passes, it will be good.
Faculty: Now the curriculum is according to NEP 2020, and it's quite good from the previous curriculum. But the faculty members here are supportive, especially of the CSE department, they have great knowledge, and their teaching style is good. As it is a government college, it's cost-effective.
Other: Campus is huge and very good, with trees all over the university.

DCUST College review by a student.
Placements: Average salary package of the college is good for a few branches like Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, etc. Only for upper branches, average salary package is 6 LPA. For these branches, only a few students are placed above the average package. The placement rate is bad for the college for a few years.
Infrastructure: There are 4 boys' hostels in the university and 3 girls' hostels in the college. Hostel in the college is big with a capacity of 300 students. In each hostel, there are both single and shared rooms available. For the boys in the boys' hostel, the mess of the hostel is good.
Faculty: There are two semesters in the college, like other colleges, and each semester has two mid-semester exams. Total marks of the college exam are 75. Courses of the college are at an industrial level. Each university labs have high internet connections. The faculty of the college is well qualified, having a Ph.D. in their subjects.
Other: I chose this course at my rank. This college provides a decent package. College has a ground.

I would recommend joining this college if your financial condition is not well.
Placements: Almost 10% of students got their campus placement from here. CSE placements are quite good, averaging around 8 LPA. TCS is the top recruiting company, and almost every student has to complete an internship. College placements are declining each year. As a fresher, I was very upset because of the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not too bad, not too good. Roads inside the college are broken. One good thing about this university is the greenery. Hostel rooms are congested. In my college, there are four boys' hostels and three girls' hostels. Most classrooms are without AC.
Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful at this university. I don’t even know if they are qualified. Most professors are visiting faculty and they don’t know how to teach properly. I believe I could teach them better. There are two sessional exams, one in two months and the other at the end of the semester.
Other: I am pursuing a B.Tech in computer science because of lucrative placements. This course provides offers in companies like Microsoft and Google. There is only one fest called Rhythm.

Students who are searching for a good college and hostel life then definitely go for it.
Placements: The college provides excellent placements for those who are genuinely able for it and those who are skilled in their field. They just provide a platform where you can show your ability and decide your value. In comparison with other tier 3 colleges in my opinion it's the best option.
Infrastructure: Telling about the infrastructure it consists of a library where 50,000 books are there and overall a good infrastructure with a vast auditorium. Overall you are going to enjoy the moment. The hostel facilities are very good but it does not justify the price.
Faculty: In my opinion, one of the best things that helped me to convince myself about my choice was the teachers who truly justified their duties. They give full support who are trying to look for opportunities. The valuable person will gain some benefits from their teachings and experience.

Lacks placements and quality.
Placements: Placements are very poor. Only a few companies visit, and most students have to find jobs off-campus. The placement cell is inactive and offers little support. Average packages are low and not relevant to our field. Not suitable if you're expecting good campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, lacks modern facilities, and is well-equipped. It is not ideal for those expecting top facilities.
Faculty: Faculty quality is very disappointing. Most teachers are not supportive or skilled. Overall, not worth it for serious learners. Faculty is not helpful
Other: The crowd is not engaging. Very few events or extracurricular activities are conducted. Overall, the college lacks exposure, quality, and student life.

Review of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology.
Placements: Companies do come for placements but need to put in a bit more extra effort. If you are the one who can put effort daily you'll end up having some kind of placement offer. TCL is the mass recruiter along with some other companies. ECE also has good placement packages.
Infrastructure: The college is Wi-Fi enabled, with a water filter, a student mess, and a satisfactory hostel. The mess workers are good. There are 4 hostel for 4 years, Boys Hostel 1, Boys Hostel 2, Boys Hostel 3, and BH 4. They have 3 floors, with single rooms available which has a balcony. Common washrooms per floor are provided.
Faculty: CSE department has good teaching faculty. Semester exams are at the par level of hardness. One can easily score if they study regularly. End-sem exam is also not that hard including internal viva, it's easy too. If you are the one who can study regularly.

Yes, it is right to pursue a CS branch in any IIIT rather than a core branch in DTU/NSUT/NIT until and unless you are interested in any of the core branches as I am more interested in Industrial engineering so I've chosen it over any other branch.

Visit the college's previous year’s rankwise admission. With this rank, you can get admission for CSE but every year, the prescribed rank varies, so wait for the counselling result.
