St. Xavier's University BA (H) is an undergraduate programme spread across various streams of education, such as Arts, Economics, Mass Communication, etc. Under this programme, the university offers four specialisations, BA (H) in English, BA (H) in Economics, BA (H) in Psychology, and BA (H) in Mass Communication. All these courses are offered in full-time mode for a duration of four years. However, students get an option to exit the course after completion of three years, given that they have attained a certain number of credits. Admission to St. Xavier's University BA (H) courses is both merit- and entrance-based. The university admits students to all its BA courses based on marks in Class 12 except for the BA (H) in Mass Communication. For admission to BA (H) in Mass Communication, the university conducts an in-house entrance test. Moreover, students must fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

The St. Xavier's University BA (H) curriculum is a composition of various types of courses, including Core Course, Generic Elective, Additional Compulsory Course, and more. Students enrolled in the BA programme are also required to study various Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses and Skill Enhancement Elective Courses that are aimed at students's holistic development.
Apart from this, the curriculum also mandates students to submit a dissertation. Upon successful submission, students are awarded six credits. St. Xavier's University BA (H) seats are spread across different specialisations offered under this programme. As per official sources, the seats have been allocated equally across all specialisations. In order to get a seat, students must apply for the preferred course. The university allocates seats for three specialisations based on Class 12 marks. While the seats reserved for BA (Hons) in Mass Communication are allocated based on performance in the university-level admission test.
Apart from this, the distribution of these seats is also subject to St. Xavier's University BA seat reservation policy. As per the policy, 10% of the total seats for each course are reserved for the EWS category. This provision is made as per the government guidelines. The minimum score required in XLAT to get shortlisted mainly depends upon number of applicants, difficulty level of paper and category.
The safe score for general category is 65-75+ out of 100 and for SC/ST category it requires 50+ .

Hi,
You have a chance of getting seat in your desired college with your percentile marks. Over the years, Great lakes will definitely get admission to MBA course at a cutoff percentile of 70 only, and 75 percentile is more than enough to avail the course.
