I have a bitter-and-sweet relationship with campus.
Placements: As a student of Xavier's, I can confidently share an honest overview of the placement and internship opportunities given to us in the law department are quite low in comparison to other departments in our college. Overall the training and placement cell was active and is providing valuable support in resume building and coordinating with recruiters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is quite good and there are various facilities which are available to the students for their comfort and enjoyment. The library provides access in off-campus mode also. Students can get access to EBSCO, EPW LexisNexis, etc.
Faculty: The faculty in each and every department is friendly and cooperative, they try to help the students as much as possible. The course curriculum has relevance in the practical world and the course is not that difficult if you focus on the classes and listen to the lectures delivered by the professors.
Other: This course provides various opportunities in real life and it is a very lengthy course yet an interesting one. The co-curriculum is attractive there are various societies that organize different events.

Good curriculum and poor placements.
Placements: There are hardly any placement opportunities provided for the batch. 10% of students are only placed. Moreover, placements are only for litigation roles. There are no corporate opportunities. This is quite disappointing for someone who is looking forward to start career in corporate law.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Classrooms are spacious with all necessary fittings and technological requirements. Hostel is also well-furnished. Canteen is good with lots of options. There are also a games room and gym available. There are sports fields for students to play different sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. Some of them are exceptional, while some do not have the knowledge of law. Course curriculum is very detailed and well-structured. It prepares students for their professional life. Exams are conducted at a competitive level and test the students' knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because there are very few options for private law colleges in Kolkata. Since their curriculum is good, I decided to join. There are many fests, competitions, and activities provided by the college.

The best facilities are provided to students in terms of education, placements, and infrastructure.
Placements: The top recruiting companies include SVF, Axis Bank, Dabur, Berger, Deloitte, Godrej etc. 100% of students of our batch got summer internships last year in various law firms and with individual advocates. The top roles include legal consultant, litigation, judiciary, and legal firm associates.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available are perfect. The hostel facilities and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen are very good. There is a sports club for students who want to participate in tournaments. Medical facilities are available in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is appreciable even in online and offline classes. Semester exams are not much difficult. You have to study to pass all your exams. No exam is difficult if you study hard. The pass percentage of every semester exam is 40%.
Other: Ours is the second batch of our 5-year B.A. LL.B. course, and thus no batch passed out yet and didn't receive placements. The average package offered in our course is unknown, but the other departments got an average package of around 4 LPA.

Good infrastructure and facilities makes us one of a kind.
Placements: The top recruiting companies of our placement cell includes SVF, Axis Bank, Dabur, Berger, Deloitte, Godrej etc. 100 percent students of our batch got placed in summer internship last year, in various law firms and individual advocates. The top roles includes legal consultants, litigation, judiciary and legal firm associates. We are the second batch of our 5 year B.A. LL.B. course, thus no batch passed out yet and received placements. The average package of our course is unknown, but the other departments get around 4lack pa. placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is what makes our university stand out of the crowd. There is free wi-fi inside the university. The classrooms are huge and are air conditioned. W have 2 library in the university which has books needed for every academic field. The quality of the hostel facilities are also quite good, there is a girls hostel and a boys hostel. There is gym in the hostel, the food of the mess and the canteen are standard and budget friendly. We have basketball court, badminton court and games rooms.
Faculty: Yes the teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in terms of anything. Not only in studies they are ready to help in any problems of the students. The teaching quality is excellent, they make every effort to clear the concepts. Yes the course curriculum is relevant and it does makes the students industry ready. The exams are enough difficult and mostly application based and the pass percentage is 100 percent.
Other: I choose this course as its a professional course, it will make me ready to work after college. The best things in this course I found is the curriculum structure. For now, I believe the law papers should be decreased for 1st 2 years. Most of the events are happening online for now, but yes sometimes 1 or 2 event where the whole college comes together is organized in the college campus.

It is a great college for any aspiring law student.
Placements: We are currently the second batch. None of the batches has passed out yet. So, I cannot give any recommendation regarding that. However, our college does everything for us like we are given internships by our college in case we are unable to get them on our own. There are also expert lawyers and professors, and they conduct informative webinars weekly.
Infrastructure: In the hostel, the rooms are quite spacious and hygienic. There is a badminton court, basketball court, gym and many other fun activities. The food served here is really good. If you think that you will adjust to terrible food, it is wrong. Our canteen has all sorts of food items which are tasty as well as affordable. There is Wi-Fi 24x7 and a private nurse as well to look after us. We can also access our library facilities. You will have an amazing hostel life as well.
Faculty: Our professors are extremely knowledgeable, and they know what they teach. If you have any doubts, you can even call them after class hours. They're always open to constructive criticism. The course is perfect for any aspiring lawyer. The law papers don't have direct questions. You can answer them only if you know the laws well.
Other: Many extracurricular activities and fests are organised here. You will not only get academic knowledge but also enjoy your college life and explore what you're passionate about. The infrastructure is top-notch.

St. Xavier's University is the best.
Placements: It is a newly established legal institution in India. It is a newly introduced undergraduate course program in the year 2019, so there is still no passing out batch till now. There is a placement cell of the university, and they don't want to leave any such problems at the end of their course. They provide us with good recruiting companies for the different departments which have been there for a long time, like MSW and MBA. Corporate partners like Deloitte, HDFC Bank, PWC and also some big names are considered to be the top recruiting companies that come to the university during the placement procedure.
Infrastructure: Facilities in terms of infrastructure are not at all compromised. Everything is available as per the students' needs. It may be a good library facility for the usage of student Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms and faculty cubicles, a stationery shop on the department floor, and all of these bases are covered very well. There are the Moot Court Hall and the Legal aid Clinic. There are separate hostels for girls and boys, where 2 students usually share each room, and the quality of the hostel is top-notch. The canteen provides extremely delicious and well-cooked food, so there is no room for complaining. Also, the university has its own societies, and there is a sports society, with a sports co-coordinator who takes immense care of the games and sports department of the university.
Faculty: Faculty members are extremely well-settled in this university. They are quite knowledgeable, friendly, perfectionist and also well-qualified. Students are extremely happy with faculty members, and they help us in any way we want them to. We get the best quality in education. For the course curriculum, the university follows the syllabus of National Law University, and they make students efficient for their future, considering how difficult it is in this corporate world. The pass percentage is nearly around 30% of the overall marks, and the difficulty level of the semester exam is very hard.
Other: I have chosen this course because there is a huge scope to learn and a great advantage in choosing the right career path. Law at St. Xavier's University opens up many opportunities in the future, which help students to reach the highly desired fields they always wanted to work at. Things that need to be improved are the education system. The university provides great faculty members, but there should be a rule like every professor needs to teach with the help of PPTs and jam boards. It makes the teaching-learning process very easy, fun and hassle-free. The campus life is fantastic, with a great study atmosphere and good company. The most important part is there is also an anti-ragging cell.

Hi,
You have a chance of getting seat in your desired college with your percentile marks. Over the years, Great lakes will definitely get admission to MBA course at a cutoff percentile of 70 only, and 75 percentile is more than enough to avail the course.
