TNOU Diploma total tuition fee ranges between INR 3,500 and INR 7,200. Candidates need to pay fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat. Tamil Nadu Open University fees include multiple components, such as the tuition fee, hostel fee, etc. Caution fee is one-time payable at the time of admission. The fee excludes caution deposit of INR 300.
TNOU BSc curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. Hence, the curriculum includes subjects semester-wise. During the course of the programme, students are required to study:

Tamil Nadu Open University offers both B.Ed and B.Ed Spl.Ed. for two-year each. Below is the minimum academic qualification required to apply for any of the programmes:
- Aspirants must pass bachelor's or master's degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate to apply for TNOU B.Ed and B.Ed Spl.Ed. programme.
- Candidates with bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with a minimum of 55% aggregate can also apply.
- There is relaxation in the aggregate for reserved category candidates. Aspirants belonging to BC/ BCM need 45% aggregate, 43% for MBC/ DNC and 40% for SC/ SCA/ ST in graduation.
Candidates seeking admission to BCom at Tamil Nadu Open University are required to submit the following documents during the time of admission as mentioned below:
- JPEG File of the highest Qualification Certificate (Class 10/ Class 12)
- Community Certificate for those students who wish to avail Scholarship
- Scanned copy of the applicant’s signature
- Scanned copy of applicant’s recently taken colour photo
TNOU has a faculty comprising assistant professors, associate professors and professors. Most of the faculty members are PhD holders. The remaining faculty is highly qualified and has expertise in respective courses and fields.
In order to get admission to TNOU offered courses, candidates must meet the eligibility conditions and complete the application process. Admission to the courses is merit-based, i.e. , applicants' performance in the last qualifying examination is evaluated. For B.Ed Spl.Ed., MPhil and PhD courses, candidates have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university. TNOU releases a rank list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. Yes, Tamil Nadu Open University offers MBA programme for two-years at the PG level. The course is offered in semester pattern with curriculum divided into four semesters. Aspirants need to pass graduation to apply for MBA course. The selection for MBA is based on merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam.

TNOU does not refunds programme fee once paid by the candidates. The balance amount of the fee already paid to the university is refunded to the applicant in such case.
