It is a good college, especially for Jain students.
Placements: Good course you can go for it. Placements are not good. You have to apply off-campus and you will get the placement because you will gain some knowledge while studying.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. All labs are there for you to work and explore your talent. Hostel food is good and you will get food facilities like the canteen and other things inside campus only. You can go out on Sundays only, on other days you have to take leave from college, then from the hostel, they will talk to your parents, after that they will provide leave. Special security for girls, and proper attendance in the hostel every day.
Faculty: Faculty is good, especially for the B.Tech department. Good course you can do for it. All faculty members are very helpful.

Yes, you can get the lateral entry but the condition is that your record should be clear no backlogs. Otherwise, no one will give you lateral entry.
