Tezpur University, a place to know.

Placements: The college is situated in North Eastern part of the country, and the placement remains the biggest challenge. A few of the big brands of media like Ramoji, Pradhan, Seva, etc. come to college for offering jobs to the eligible ones. The alumni of the place are placed in some of the best organisation.

Infrastructure: The college is perfectly made with 24hrs electricity, central Wi-Fi connectivity and the best securities for the students. The labs are well-equipped, modern and have all the amenities in store for its students. It's a residential campus, so all the facilities are perfect on the campus. The hostels are well maintained, and it's a ragging free campus.

Faculty: The teachers are one of the best from their fields, qualified the best to educate the students. They have always been a friend first and then a guide. A true mentor whom you can remain connected even after you leave the place. They are at help always. The course built in such a way that one gets proper exposure to the outside world.

Other: The college has regular activities for its students.

Life at Tezpur University.

Placements: The placement scenario in TU is not good. Except for the School of Engineering and the School of Business Administration, the others do not get placements. The T&P cell is somewhat unable to reach out to organisations and has failed to bring placements to the campus. Students have worked their way out to get themselves employed in various fields.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome with a high-end state-of-the-art library and laboratories. The use of technology is very much used to impart knowledge to the students. Apart from that, any student can indulge himself/herself in many different forms of co-curricular activities ranging in the fields of sports to cultural and enjoy their stay at TU.

Faculty: Faculty members at TU are always noted for their contributions to education. But as far as the curriculum is concerned, it is outdated and couldn't match the advancement of things required to look out for good jobs. The industrial exposure is zero. Even though the ratio of student-teacher was 28:1, some faculty members couldn't meet the requirements of being called a qualified teacher.

Other: If anyone wants to enjoy their life still they are studying, I would suggest them to enrol themselves in TU and in a hostel. Infrastructure is the best thing that has happened to TU. Anyone who visits TU for the first time is awed by it for the rest of his life. TU will teach you many things and prepare you for the battle of life.

TU: Nurturing the beauty in you.

Placements: Mass communication is not a confined discipline and thus, almost, all the students are well-equipped to place themselves into their own fields. The course mainly focuses on bringing out the best of each student. Moreover, a chunk of people of the university produces job rather than getting themselves placed by opening opportunities in their own production houses. Unitreed and Folk films are merely two such wonderful examples of it.

Infrastructure: The department has well-equipped labs as far as MCJ is concerned. The students get a chance to have hands on all of them. Starting from the equipment to the 24*7 studio, followed by the editing table and placing the final product in the screening hall, the department has everything set well.

Faculty: As it is a central University and being ranked in the top universities of the nation and world, it has faculty members from various fields and all are expertise in their own niche. They maintain a cordial relationship with the students. Each student is taken care of under their respective mentor. This not only assures their academic upliftment, but they also try their level best in solving the student's personal issues, if they have any.

Other: The scenic beauty of the university is also something to ponder upon. The refreshing environment revives the spirit of both the students and the faculty members as well. However, being in top listed universities of the nation and known for its academics, the university has not failed in competing in co-curricular activities at the international level. I hope the above-mentioned details are sufficiently enough to have a rough idea about the University.
