The level of difficulty of LNMIIT Jaipur entrance exams varies with the programme. For BTech, admission is based on JEE Main which is moderately tough. Entrance tests for MSc and M.Tech are course-specific but are manageable if prepared. The tests evaluate conceptual thinking as opposed to memory.

LNM Institute of Information Technology founded as a public-private partnership joint venture between the Government of Rajasthan and Lakshmi and Usha Mittal Foundation.
