TISS Mumbai PhD Highlights 2025
TISS Mumbai offers PhD under 11 specialisations. Aspiring candidates must have completed either a 4-year bachelor's degree programme with 8 semesters or a 3-year bachelor's degree programme. Alternatively, the regulatory body can also accept an equivalent qualification. Admission to this programme is subject to a valid score in the institute's PhD RAT (Research Aptitude Test). Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility set by the institute for all its PhD courses.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Graduation with a minimum 50% aggregate
Selection: PhD RAT + GD & PI

TISS Mumbai PhD Admission 2025: How to Apply?
Step 1: Visit the official website of TISS (tiss.edu) and navigate to the PhD programme section.
Step 2: Register for the programme by providing the required details and creating a password for the application process.
Step 3: Fill out the online application form with all the necessary information and upload the required documents as mentioned in the instructions.
Step 4: Pay the application fee as follows:
- Unemployed candidates with parent’s/guardian’s annual income less than INR 2.5 Lakhs for SC/ST and INR 1 lakh for OBC(NC): INR 250
- SC/ST candidates: INR 500 + bank charges
- OBC(NC) candidates: INR 250 + bank charges
- Candidates not falling under SC/ST/OBC(NC) category: INR 1000 + bank charges
Step 5: Verify all the entered details and submit the application form.
Step 6: Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
