Good faculties prepare the foundation for competitiveness and life.
Placements: There is no direct placement after completion of the course. But students have to sit for competitions like UGC NET Civil services, banking, SSC, etc. This course prepares the foundation for the competitive exams. There is no direct internship facility in the department. But one can participate in seminar, one-day workshops, conferences, etc.
Infrastructure: The department is well-equipped with infrastructural facilities such as a smartboard with a sound system in the classroom, Wi-Fi, one small library and two big classrooms with many small rooms. The university has one central library where one can find the maximum number of books and journals. There are four hostels in the university: two for the Ph.D. scholars and two for the UG and PG students. The condition of the hostel is average and the mess facility is also average. The university has one primary hospital with an ambulance facility. The university has one sports board and two playgrounds.
Faculty: The faculty members are a bank of knowledge. They are humble, friendly and knowledgeable. Students have to focus solely on their lectures and do not need any further outside assistance. This course develops the proper communication and writing skills of the students, which helps them in their future preparation for the competition. Difficulty levels vary from person to person; if one solely focuses on the lectures, he/she does not need to worry about the difficult level. Yes, the question standards are quite high but the questions revolved around the topics taught in the classes. The passing percentage is approximately 66.6–70%.
Other: I chose this course to build my foundation in English . This course is about developing my writing and communication skills. The course is good but there are some problems in the evaluation process, like the lack of transparency in the evaluation. The department conducts many events and fests throughout the year like freshers, farewells, conferences, departmental trips, etc. One can also avail financial assistance for the course, like Ishan Uday scholarship the NEC scholarship, etc. The campus life is good and safe.

It has good infrastructure and facilities. Activities are held to inspire students.
Placements: In our batch of IMD, there are around 170 students, out of which approximately 35 students have chosen English as their core subject, and I am one of them. The top recruiting companies for my course may be communication companies. The top roles offered in my course involve skills in writing and speaking.
Infrastructure: In our department, we have free Wi-Fi, a spacious classroom, and an available library. Additionally, we have a smart TV, which is very helpful. In the hostel, the mess department maintains the routine, and the provided food menu is very good. There are around 300 students.
Faculty: In my subject, which is English, the teachers are really qualified, and their concepts of teaching are awesome. The exams depend on how you study and work hard. The pass percentage of the exam is 40%. The course and syllabus we are studying are quite good. I hope it will give us a good scope.
Other: I chose this course because I would like to uplift my community literature in the future. Also, I wish to improve my knowledge in Literature and speaking skills in English. The events, activities, etc., are all amazing; I love it.

Good university, great faculty, no direct placements but they prepare you for competitive exams.
Placements: There are 175 students in our batch. It's a general course which gives you the comfort to prepare for competitive exams like UGC, NET, PCS, teaching etc. But there is no direct placement and internship programme. You can apply for outside internship and placement with university's permission.
Infrastructure: Yes, many facilities are given like Wi-Fi, central and departmental library, well maintained classrooms with big touch screen monitor and sound system. Good quality canteen and hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Medical facilities are also good and playground is also available with every equipment.
Faculty: Yes, good quality teaching is given by our respected faculty members. Our coordinator and asst. coordinators are great and friendly. Two sessional and semester exams are taken (30+70=100 marks). Extra curricular activities like Sadotsava, Cultural programme, Saraswati Puja etc. are held every year.
Other: This course is the best for those who want to take general degree as it prepares you for future competitive exams like UGC, NET, PCS etc. Best auditorium and open theatre facilities are available.

Tripura University - The best academic hub in Tripura.
Placements: Placement happens only in some selective departments that too not very often. But the professors personally help the students very much regarding jobs and further studies. Over-all this helps a lot. I would love to continue my further studies here only.
Infrastructure: The whole campus has strong Wi-Fi network. Also there are several labs where students can use high-speed internet. The library has rich collection of books covering all the subjects. There is also a reference section at the library which is a rich source of information.
Faculty: The department of English is an excellently performing department, perhaps the best one in the campus. The professors are very cooperative and are very easy to approach. They help us in every possible manner - academically as well as in co-scholastic grounds.
Other: The campus life is the best. People are very friendly and cooperative. I would gladly like to enroll myself for further studies here only.

There is need of permanent faculty for the department of IMD.
Placements: No placement but number of students are more. There are no recruiting companies for my course. I haven't seen anyone going for internship. There are no top roles offered in my course and they don't even give us our B.A. Marksheet after completing B.A.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but Wi-Fi is poor and library is good. Hostel food is not good and canteen food is costly for us. Sports facilities give main focus for physical education department. They don't even allow us to use the ground where we can play.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but there is no faculty in or department, our classes are taken by the teachers of various other departments. The department of IMD don't have any permanent faculty for which we all students of the department of IMD have to face trouble.
Other: Cause its an integrated course and the university is central I opted this course. The main thing what our university needs to include is bus facilities for the students. There are no extracurricular activities and funds. Fests are very low.
