UEM Kolkata Placements 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

UEM Kolkata offers decent placements annually for various courses like BTech, MBA and MCA, etc. As per the latest report, the participating recruiters have placed 1559 students of the Engineering and Management batch 2024 in new-age job roles. However, the highest and average package offered to Engineering and Management students during UEM Kolkata placements 2024 stood at INR 72 LPA and INR 8.48 LPA, respectively. WBJEE Counselling 2026 will be conducted in two rounds, namely Round 1 and Round 2, followed by the Defence quota counselling.

According to the UEM Kolkata, cutoff for Round 3 in 2023, the closing ranks for all B.Tech. specializations ranged from 11664 to 17861. The most competitive specialisation has been Information Technology with a closing rank of 11664, followed by Computer Science and Engineering (IOT) with 17861 rank. As per official sources, cutoff for these courses of UEM Kolkata is not available for previous years.

To get admission in UEM Kolkata BTech, student must pass Class 10 and 12 with minimum 70% aggregate. They must have studied PCM as compulsory subjects in Class 12. Selection is entrance-based.

Yes, MCA is a two-year course offered at the PG level. The admissions to the MCA programme are based on the entrance exam score. The university considers the WB JECA / any other national level or state level exam or UEM Entrance Exam score followed by a GDPI round. Also, candidates must fulfil the eligibility to get admission to the course. A pass in BCA/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognised university with at least 70% aggregate and above is required to apply for the MCA course.

No, candidates will not be able to fill out WBJEE application form offline. The authorities will release the application form online at wbjeeb.nic.in. No other mode of application will be accepted. While filling out the application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal, academic and contact details. All of the submitted details have to be valid and as per the documents possessed by the candidates. Invalid and incorrect applications will be rejected by the authorities.

WBJEE 2026 application form correction facility dates have not been announced yet. The registered candidates will be able to access the WBJEE application form 2026 correction facility online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. During the correction process, the candidates will be able to edit/correct some of the details that have been previously submitted in the application form. After the final date, the authorities will not accept any requests for corrections in the WBJEE application form.

WBJEE Counselling is usually held after the results of the WBJEE entrance examinations are released to the public. Only those students are eligible for the counselling process who have appeared for the entrance examination.
