If you want to pass the time and change professions in the future, join the college.

Faculty: Semester exams are easy. Some professors are helpful but not everyone. I feel that the curriculum of the course is a bit outdated and exhaustive. Research papers, mini projects, assignments, and exams will be your college life and time will pass like a bullet train in this college.

A hidden gem once. Not up to the mark now. Dense campus life, which feels more like a school.

Faculty: Very strict schedule of exams. Teachers are qualified, but not everyone knows how to teach, apparently. They just read out of PPTs and then take attendance. The course curriculum is relevant, though. But there is a lack of practical knowledge cultivated in the students from the beginning. Oftentimes, they have to resort to the internet to actually upskill themselves.

Experience of my college life. The worst college in Kolkata.

Faculty: Exams are really bad, you can't really judge your marks, like if you have written and you are confident that you will score nine out of 10, you will 7 and if you confident that you will score 7 out of 10, shockingly you will get 10 out of 10 or somewhere and the faculty is really bad they don't know the basic DSA.

Do not choose UEM Kolkata before knowing these things.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The quality is below average for certain subjects, the reasons being that it is quite difficult to deliver lectures in such big classes for a constant 50 minutes and the execution of certain teachers is not that good. Though some teachers excel in both, they are pretty awesome. The course curriculum is relevant, but not enough to make the students industry ready, especially in CSE. You definitely need to work on your skills and yourself. The c...

I am unhappy with the faculty and the bad infrastructure. It has good placements and facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in startups, internships, and other new ideas for students. The course taught by teachers is very bad and hard to understand. The course curriculum is good and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are hard, but the pass percentage is about 87%.

The infrastructure isn't excellent.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, and they are really knowledgeable and well-qualified. No other subjects were more than 10 subjects that were not relevant, just creating pressure on students. The semester exam is very difficult. The questions were set by IIT’s faculty, so it is very tough, and the pass percentage is 90%.

Overall, it is a good college, but not value for money. You must think before taking admission.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, helpful, and their teaching quality is decent. They make us 60–70% ready for the industry. Semester exams are of intermediate difficulty level, and the pass percentage is 50%. Our exam session is held for more than one month in every semester.
