Good reputed place to get that degree without much hassle.
Placements: I don't think the department or the university arranges for any placement fairs or anything as such for non technical courses but people definitely go on to become professors, government servants and even politicians in some renowned cases. The most sought after career is to work with the government, especially in administration, just like in the rest of the north India.
Infrastructure: There is a computer lab for remote sensing and GIS, equipped supposedly with ArcGIS (the most widely used software in the field and also very expensive), a lab for cartography, a library specially dedicated to books of geography and several classrooms of decent to good infrastructure. Projectors are available too. I do not live in the hostel so don't know much about it but from what I've heard from friends it's pretty decent and the overall monthly expense comes down to just around 4-5k. Pretty affordable right!
Faculty: The teaching faculty is well learned in their fields and is generally very helpful and encouraging. The quality of lessons depend on each professor but I'd generally not recommend going to lectures as they're not very rich in terms of extra relevant information other than what is already in the books (which one can study on their own). The course curriculum is very interesting and comes handy in many government exams (which is the desired field for many) along with being helpful in careers related to geography.
Other: Well, I just opted for the course because I wanted a master's degree while I studied for government exams. It's a full time course but you can work your way around with minimum attendance. I wish the lectures were more interesting and of better quality in terms of the information provided. That would drive me to attend and enjoy more. There are scholarships and the department really encourages the students to apply and most SC, ST, OBC and PWD students end up getting scholarships more or less around the same amount as their tuition fees. There isn't much scope for extracurriculars as far as I know but the crowd is fine so you can chit chat around or form your own groups or clubs etc. The campus is situated in one of the prime locations of Jaipur on JLN Marg so you shouldn't have any connectivity issues and there are a number of places to hang around.

Our campus offers average opportunities at an average price.
Placements: For Hindi medium students, it is good to go. Not many opportunities are available but one can consider this college for having a degree. English medium students find it hard to pursue the course as teachers are mainly from Hindi backgrounds. One can join to pursue the degree.
Infrastructure: Hostels are available on campus and they are pretty cheap. Politics in college goes on. Departments of some subjects are good and others are more or less average. Many students find the place and opportunities too hectic and boring. Staff members are rude.
Faculty: The teaching staff members are average on campus. Exams are hectic and not as per the current performance. They are more or less conducted boringly as the teaching is also not good. I have been a student and most students pass the exams with average of 60-65%. Campus life is not so good and it is hard.

Very nice campus with all facilities.
Placements: There is no placements in geography as such in Rajasthan University. Some of universities avail placement in remote sensing and GIS, disaster management and other practical related subjects. But here no such placements are available as of now.
Infrastructure: Rajasthan University geography department is quite good and have a good infrastructure in terms of rooms available for classes, practical lab, central library with all facilities. Hostels are very good with large infrastructure because it spread in large area. With minimum monthly charges of food only.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and very helpful for career guidance. Curriculum is also good because it has semester system but there are some problems in practical subjects because some of the subjects are age old which not needed at this time so need to be updates accordingly .

Students have great experience to get admission to such a great university.
Placements: This college was good for those who were seeking jobs for college teaching staff. Assistant professor in various colleges was a good opportunity after completing the course and the subject knowledge help students in getting jobs in various departments like RPSC and UPSC services.
Infrastructure: The classrooms were friendly, with great infrastructure and it was a great experience. Hostel facilities were also good. The campus was user-friendly, other activities were also going well with a study like games, and hostel nights were good. The food was also good and most importantly the service provided by the staff.
Faculty: The teaching techniques of lectures were good. Their behavior was also friendly to students. The difficulty of semester exams were enough to test students' knowledge about the subject which helps them to get job-ready, and bring them into the race as well.
Other: I opted for this course, because to get my knowledge sharper.

It provides very helpful faculty members and quality education.
Placements: Many of the students were not placed because many companies were not interested in giving the placements to a geography graduate. The quality of education is very good, so most of the students got government jobs. Almost 60% of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our college were very good. It is one of the most reputed universities in Rajasthan. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. Facilities for sports and games are very good. There is an annual sport meet every year at the university.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful. They try their best to educate the students. They also encouraged the students to do some extra courses. They motivate the students to do excellent in the academic as most of the students wanted to join some government jobs, so they were not concerned about the corporate.
Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to become an IAS officer. I think some new technologies should be introduced in this course.
