For admission to M.A. Courses at the university, applicants must be eligible. Candidates with a Bachelors degree in the respective subjects according to the course-specific requirement can apply. For the selection, students must qualify the University URATPG entrance exam, which is common for all the specialisations of M.A. The seat allotment is based on the candidate's scores in the entrance test. The total course fee for the M.A. Course ranges between INR 4,380 and INR 1.13 Lacs.

Admission to the MA programme at Rajasthan University needs the candidates to have a minimum of at least 48% in aggregate or 55% marks in the subject of postgraduation or Bachelor or its equivalent degree recognised by this University with at least 55% marks in the aggregate. The University Maharani College cutoff 2024 for the admission to undergraduate courses has been released for Round 2. As per the Rajasthan Universtiy cutoff 2024, the required percentage to get admission in UG courses for General AI category candidates varied between 97.8 and 53.6. Moreover, the required percentages for B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science, B.Sc. in Statistics, B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry, and B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics for General AI students are 97.8, 97.2, 96.4 and 96.4, respectively.

Similarly, for the OBC AI category candidates, the required percentages varied from 55.2 to 96.8.
