Rajasthan University also known as UNIRAJ, was established in 1947 with the prime objective of creating a holistic and knowledge-based ecosystem for students. Rajasthan University Jaipur is recognised by the UGC and accredited by the NAAC with Grade A. The University of Rajasthan has 9 faculty members, 35+ departments and 15+ research centres. B.Sc.	Candidates passed 10+2 with Science with mentioned marks from a recognised board. Candidates passed senior secondary examination with agriculture subject shall be eligible to get admission in biology group.
BCA	Candidate must have completed 10+2 examination (Arts/Science/ Commerce) or equivalent with above mention marks in aggregate.
BBA	Passed class 12th or equivalent examination under the scheme (10+2) with above mention mark in aggregate from a recognised board.
Certificate	Candidates must have passed their 10+2 from a recognised board.

For entry into UNIRAJ's MBA programme, there is an entrance exam. To be eligible for admission, students must successfully complete either the Podar Institute Of Management-Management Aptitude Test (PIM-MAT) or the University's URATPG entrance exam. Except for the PhD track, this entrance test is a crucial part of the UNIRAJ MBA programme's admissions procedure.

Through RAPIM, a part of Rajasthan University, UNIRAJ provides MBA programmes.  A total of 120 students are enrolled per year and the admission is based on performance on either the PIM-MAT or URATPG entrance exams, with the exception of the PhD track. A bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 45% is required for the Human Resource Management course offered by UNIRAJ, which also provides specialised MBA programmes. Overall, UNIRAJ offers MBA programmes with different, well specified selection criteria based on specialisation.

Admission to the MA programme at Rajasthan University needs the candidates to have a minimum of at least 48% in aggregate or 55% marks in the subject of postgraduation or Bachelor or its equivalent degree recognised by this University with at least 55% marks in the aggregate. The candidates also need to make sure they qualify URATPG exam. 

For admission to M.A. Courses at the university, applicants must be eligible. Candidates with a Bachelors degree in the respective subjects according to the course-specific requirement can apply. For the selection, students must qualify the University URATPG entrance exam, which is common for all the specialisations of M.A. The seat allotment is based on the candidate's scores in the entrance test. The total course fee for the M.A. Course ranges between INR 4,380 and INR 1.13 Lacs.

The University Maharani College cutoff 2024 for the admission to undergraduate courses has been released for Round 2. As per the Rajasthan Universtiy cutoff 2024, the required percentage to get admission in UG courses for General AI category candidates varied between 97.8 and 53.6. Moreover, the required percentages for B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science, B.Sc. in Statistics, B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry, and B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics for General AI students are 97.8, 97.2, 96.4 and 96.4, respectively.

Similarly, for the OBC AI category candidates, the required percentages varied from 55.2 to 96.8.

The UNIRAJ BA LLB Hons seats are 120. These seats are available for students interested in Law. Moreover, these seats are allocated based on RULET. To get in, students also need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. The criteria are that they should have passed Class 12 and belong to Rajasthan with a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12. Other state students must have secured 60% in Class 12.

Yes, UNIRAJ offers admissions based on NIOS as a government-recognised board on equivalent standing with CBSE or ICSE. The university accepts the course eligibility through NIOS scores, though candidates must also ensure that they complete the selection process and finish their NIOS exams before admissions.
