Lucknow University PG cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to several postgraduate courses, including MVA, MA, MCom, M.Ed, MTTM, MSc and MPH, among other courses. The last round cutoff ranged between 10.5 and 150, of which MVA in Stone Carving stands out as the most competitive course for the General AI category students. Lucknow University accepts JEE Main entrance exam scores for admission to the BE/BTech courses. Considering the JEE Main last round cutoff 2024, the closing ranks varied between 129997 and 326317, of which Computer Science Engineering was the most competitive BTech specialisation for the General Home State quota. Lucknow University offers good placement annually. The University has achived 81% placements in the academic year 2024-25. The highest and average package secured by the batch 2025 was INR 24.61 and INR 7.86 LPA. Earlier, the participating recruiters presented 2588 job offers to the students of the batch 2024.

According to the latest report, a rise of 260% in the job offers was recorded in the year 2024 when compared with 2023. The students received 718 job offers in 2023 which increased to 2588 offers duirng Lucknow placements 2024.

Lucknow University is a government university and has a campus of around 219 acres. It was established in 1920 and is one of the the largest universities in Uttar Pradesh. The second campus of Lucknow University India is located in Jankipuram while the Badshah Bagh campus remains the main campus.
