Lucknow University admissions are conducted on the basis of entrance exam scores and the merit of the student. It accepts entrance scores such as CUET, CUET-PG, and JEE Main. University of Lucknow also offers direct admission to vacant and NRI seats for BTech and MCA programmes. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 40% to 60% in Class 12 for UG level admissions. Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) is a pen and paper based entrance examination. The test duration is 90 minutes. Candidates have to solve 100 MCQs within the given time period. LUMET questions are based on Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Comprehension and General Awareness. Each question carries 2 marks.
