Good knowledge and exposure with internships, events, and industrial visits.
Placements: More than 60 percent of students from our course got placed indicating a good placement rate overall. Although I am not aware of the exact salary package details, some of the top recruiters for our course include companies like Aachi. Internships are provided to all students as part of the curriculum in every semester. Students got the opportunity to intern at reputed places such as Aavin, Modern Bakers, various food processing units, Writers Cafe, and Winners Bakery, which help us gain hands-on experience and industry exposure.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure for our course. There are well-equipped labs, a dedicated food processing area like a kitchen, spacious classrooms, and access to a general library for academic needs. The hostel facilities are quite good, with clean rooms and decent amenities. The quality of food in the mess is satisfactory, with a variety of options available. A medical room is also available for basic health support. The college encourages physical activities, offering a wide range of sports and games, which are also made mandatory for first-year students to promote fitness and participation.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and professional in their approach. They teach the subjects clearly and are helpful whenever students need support. The curriculum is relevant to the course and helps us understand the industry basics. The semester exams are not very difficult. If we understand the concepts well and prepare properly, it's easy to pass. The overall pass percentage is quite good for our course.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in learning new things, cooking, and working in the food industry. There are many events conducted where we can interact with the whole college. If you want to enjoy your college life, join Stella College.

St Albert's College autonomous review for new students.
Placements: Actually, I am from the 2020 to 2023 batch at St. Albert's College. In our time of study, they were not providing placement. But they also tried to provide opportunities to students doing internships as final-year projects. The overall course syllabus was good compared with other colleges. Our college was autonomous. This made the syllabus updated every year as per the new technology coming into the IT field.
Infrastructure: Our college was autonomous, which made our college infrastructure top-level compared with other colleges. To get autonomous, college management needed to be well-maintained. The infrastructure at time of NAAC visit. We had large canteen facilities for students and teachers, it's looking like a restaurant inside a college well-maintained and clean. Students had a separate cafeteria for buying snacks in the evening, which means students did not need to go outside of the campus.
Faculty: The main reasons for getting admission at St. Albert's College were the faculty members and course syllabus, because teachers were friendly to students, which made students feel like they were in a college environment. Because of autonomous, our exams were conducted in a timely based on the syllabus completion. Compared with other colleges, our exams were easy to achieve the highest score because our questions were made by the college.
Other: College vibe was good for students, but the main problem with our campus was that there was not much space compared with other colleges. But available space was maximum utilised to build, which gives the campus vibe. The attraction was that every Friday, any of the departments needed to conduct cultural program at basketball hall, programs like dance, music, etc., which makes the vibe in our college. Albert College provided scholarships to students who scored marks above 70% in each semester, and they received 20% discount on the fee. The main reasons to choose Albert's College were the connectivity.

I am satisfied with the campus and course.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed with the help of college placements is very low. The highest salary package offered would be around 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered would be 1 LPA, and the average salary package offered would be 2.5 LPA. Top companies which recruit students of this department would be food factories for their quality analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, and it is neatly maintained and has a big space. Wi-Fi is available around the campus, and the hostel facilities are good. There are two types of hostels, of which one would be average, and the other is grand. The food in the canteen is average and suitable for daily food. Classrooms and labs are good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified for teaching subjects in the course. They would be rude rarely. The course makes students industry-ready as it has many practical classes, but we didn't have that much due to covid. The college arranges internships during the holidays.
Other: Events would happen often, and they would act as stress busters. The campus is neat and cool.

I am satisfied with the faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: Only a few students got placed in college placements. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA, and the average salary package offered would be 2 LPA for B.Voc food processing and quality control. Some of the top recruiters of this course would be Shakthi Masala, Major Bakeries, Hotels, etc. Some students got placed in milk factories too.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very good. The hostel is like a 5-star hotel with a good ambience. Wi-Fi is available on the campus, but a password is not given to students. Labs are normal with all equipment. The food available in the canteen is good. Classrooms are normal with a capacity of 50-60 members, and the library is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful most of the time. They are qualified and knowledgeable to teach those subjects. The quality of teaching is average. Students are made industry-ready as we had 2-3 internships which need to be done in bakeries and other shops where the work is being taught.

Good infrastructure with royal hostel facility, huge campus and internship opportunities.
Placements: Placements are just average and college does not care about placements. Around 75% are getting jobs by applying for it. The highest package offered is 5 lacks per annum, the lowest is 1 lack per annum and the average is 3 lacks per annum. The top recruiters would be from Aachi, Sakthi masala, leading bakeries in city etc.
Infrastructure: College has Wi-Fi all around the campus. Labs and classrooms are good. Library has many books that can be used for reference. The hostel is divided into two blocks one is a normal one and the other is a premium block. The premium block hostel is so good looking and gives a royal feel staying there. The normal hostel block is also not bad. Food is good in the mess and canteen. The college supports sports and games well but some departments are strict like vocational groups.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified with the knowledge that is required for the course. The quality of teaching is satisfying and they teach with interaction by asking questions in-between and keep the class engaging. The course curriculum is relevant as we have a lot of labs related to industry and thus making us industry ready. We also had mandatory 10 day internships like going to a bakery and learning how things are done.
Other: This course would lead to a food processing engineer/manager where we can monitor the quality of food and thus it inspires me a lot. It would be better if more internships are arranged so that people get to know the industry ready standards. Some internships are useless like marketing which is not related to course content. College would organise a lot of events and fest which would occur back to back. It would be an ice breaker for the students when these events occur.
