MCC : The hency! Students of MCC are called gentlemen of MCC.
Placements: We get good placements. It provides campus interviews and training. It also provides good internship opportunities. Some students were placed in top companies. Many students are placed in HR and other roles. We have to perform well in our academics so that helps us for good placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is best compared to other MCCs. It is one of the oldest colleges ever, which was built by Miller. We have MRF Innovation Park, where we have a Korean cafe. The main thing is our gutters are the place where we stay the whole day and we chill.
Faculty: In the social work department, all the teachers are very friendly, and caring. They also help a lot with our career. They maintain their professionalism, and at the same time, they treat us like their own children. It conducts 3 ICA and in the 2nd ICA, we are assigned some assignments. At last, we have ESE exams, and they are not that much different if students follow their notes and lectures.
Other: I chose social work just because I was curious, but when I came to MCC and saw the culture and traditions, it stunned me. The teaching and the way they mingle with students help a lot in their careers. There is no partiality or dominance. Here I feel like my home. For sure once students enter MCC then there is no back.

The life at MSW will be very enjoyable with personal and professional learning with satisfaction.
Placements: My class had 40-50 students. Since this is a bachelor's degree, we didn't get placed or get package offers. However, each of us got the opportunity to do internships in various NGOs, such as the Aruvi Foundation, Women of Worth Dignity Foundation, and so on. The roles offered while doing internships were to conduct tasks for the people so they could get connected to each other well, to communicate to people to be an advocate for their problems, and also to help them get identification cards such as Aadhaar cards, ration cards, and some privileges from the government.
Infrastructure: The food in the mess is good and the rooms are decent. The college has a library with a good collection of books. It also has a psychologist and counselors to help students. The college is good at conducting outdoor sports and games such as volleyball, throw ball, shuttle football, and indoor games such as carrom and table tennis.
Faculty: The teachers in our department are very knowledgeable and qualified. They are always willing to help us with any subject, even if they don't teach it. They also help us to develop professionally and personally, and they don't discriminate. The semester exams are usually conducted every six months, and in between we also have internals. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to help people by addressing their problems and helping them help themselves. The course is all about helping others to help themselves. There are two major events that occur in our college: cultural day and sports day. We also celebrate other festivals such as Onam, Christmas, Pongal, and ethnic day. As part of our course, we have rural camps, study tours, projects, fieldwork, and observation visits, which are very useful for getting connected to people and society.

It is an excellent college in India.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements for UG courses. All PG courses have great placements in many leading companies. The salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies like SOS, etc., visit our campus. The top role offered is HR.
Infrastructure: Our college and hostel provide excellent facilities. A playground is available where students can play volleyball. An indoor sports room is available. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and hostel. A library is available. Computer labs are open from 8 AM to 7 PM. Our college provides average infrastructure. First aid boxes are available. A canteen and a mess are available. The mess serves food three times a day.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and helpful. The teaching quality is excellent. Non-Tamil students might find it difficult to adapt to a few staff members who teach in Tamil. The course curriculum is relevant. It prepares you to be a professional social worker. The syllabus is set after proper planning and is updated every few years based on requirements. Semester exams are average, with both theoretical and practical questions. If someone is well versed in the basics, they have a high chance of excelling in the practical question. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Social work not only helps you to work but also helps you to empower and liberate society. The best thing about this course is the field work and soft skill sessions, which help you grow as a person. Our college organises two events, such as DejaVu and Sports Day. Our college celebrates many festivals like Pongal, Onam, Ethnic Day, etc.

It is a beautiful lush green campus with professional staff members and lots of fun.
Placements: I don't know about placements as I am a first-year student. However, as far as I have heard and observed, placements are good but not excellent nor not bad. It all depends on how you work throughout college and how much hard work you do. However, I have some senior friends who got placed really well and are MCC graduates. Our college also offers student exchange programs.
Infrastructure: MCC's campus is huge and lush green. When you enter the campus through the gate, Canopy trees almost pave the whole way. It is a beautiful entrance, and students who love nature will have the time of their lives here. Buildings are of old period and are Scottish buildings, and they give off such a good vibe. The infrastructure is really good and well maintained.
Faculty: I am pursuing my bachelor's in social work currently, and the faculty members here are really good and professional. Everything they teach isn't just some bookish knowledge but includes real-life practical day-to-day lessons which are apt for students pursuing my field. We also have field trips for enhanced learning.
Other: Events organised here are not excellent. They include just some Dj and EDM nights and a huge cultural event. There's a separate event for girls as well. Our campus has a diverse crowd, and you'll find people from all over the country. You'll find all sorts of people here.

Other: MCC is a heaven for students. It has the best staff who are friendly. Freedom for students to be different, to grow, to motivate. It has the best campus in Chennai. It has the best cultural events in Chennai. There are lots of cultural and sports activities. The college only needs to improve on some infrastructure. Otherwise, it is the best place for a student to study. It is a student’s dream college as there is freedom for students. The best part is that there is no uniform.

It is a great college, but the department could improve a lot.
Placements: This department ensures that it will provide placements in the final year. Trusted by their words, I was admitted to the department. When all other departments had placements, they did not provide placements for our department. So, if you want to do BSW in Stella, the course is good, but there are no placements.
Infrastructure: The department is very friendly. They often don’t let you go to other events as it affects your fieldwork. About the hostel, we should stay in Stella’s hostel. The food, Cheta, terrace, and rooms are all good. The hostel is a must place to stay if you are from Stella.
Faculty: The pass percentage is around 20 for 50 marks and 40 for 100. Plus, you also have components and examinations for your final marks. The department is quite knowledgeable and friendly, though very strict about the curriculum. So make sure you are passionate about doing this course.
Other: The course is not very welcome in the college. You are asked to compensate 2 days for every leave you take during fieldwork.
