Good facilities on the entire basis.
Placements: 3 to 4 students got placed. The trending topics or courses. The top companies do recruit our college students. 60 to 70 percent of the students completed internships in regional tech hubs, data start-ups L&T, TVS, Verizon, and local data analytics agencies.
Infrastructure: Everything is so good about infrastructure but we don't have a ground to play. Lab is maintained. The canteen is always filled and the library is open. There are no hostels in our college and medical facilities are available. Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time. Only vegetarian food is available. People can join this college and no van facilities are provided by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are sometimes rude but can be managed. They help and are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is 95 percent. The course curriculum is relevant and makes industry-ready. Semester exams are tough and can be passed. 80 percent is the pass percentage.

Good facilities and contacts.
Placements: At least 30-35 percent of students got placed and the package is pretty good like 3 LPA-7 LPA. Infosys is the top recruiting company and all students get internships in media companies. The college has a good name in public so even if we don't get placed in college we'll get a good job outside.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, hi-tech max studio, green and blue screens studio, and FM are available. Studio, animation labs, and hostel facilities are good. The food is good and the college canteen is also good with online ordering. There are more than 3 grounds to practice and have peaceful places to rest.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Teaching and the handling of students are good and it makes the students industry-ready. 35 percent is the pass percentage and semesters are pretty easy. Many industry-related people take guest lecturers so that was very helpful to get some outside exposure.
Other: I love media and cinema so I chose this course.

B.Sc. in Microbiology - Batch of 2026
Offered by MCC - Madras Christian College

Average course, unless you are extremely proactive. Placements for microbiology are below average.
Placements: The placements for other course students are very nice. But there are no particularly good opportunities for microbiology students, in my opinion. There are only 3 people in my class who get placed. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. There are no particular biotech companies, but only random companies offering jobs such as gym trainers, health trainers, and teacher positions.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the college are not bad, but they are very old and could use a lot of improvement. The lab has undergone renovation and is now good enough. The classrooms are often very hot as well. The library collection and the research section are pretty well stocked. I am not a hostel student, but I hear from other hostel students that it is not a pleasant experience.
Faculty: Some teachers know what they are talking about and can actually be of help to you. However, some can only read from a PDF or textbook verbatim and do not put in the effort to actually teach. The curriculum is pretty relevant, but I think it is too general. There are many things that we cannot study in detail because there are too many different topics. The exams are always hard. Teachers say that certain topics will come up in the exam. But the question setter often includes a 20-mark question on something that does not have enough material to justify 20 marks.
Other: There are no particularly good things I can say about this course. There are mandatory events where, if there is no audience, our department is asked to sit there to create the feel of a full room. However, if events are important to you, you will definitely enjoy it here. Every week, something is going on in one department or another.

There is a good college in Chennai that is the best way for students’ future.
Placements: They conduct job fairs once a year. 50+ companies come and provide jobs, and students get placed. Additional courses are also available in the college. Recently, the 25th silver jubilee was conducted. They conduct more events to develop skills and training for students. Most students show interest in joining this college. In this college, students are now settled in their lives with good salaries.
Infrastructure: This college has all facilities inside and outside the campus. The college is located near Kotturpuram railway station and Cancer Hospital near Madhya Kailash. Inside the college, they provide parking facilities for students and staff. They provide separate parking areas.
Faculty: All faculty members are close to students and teach very clearly. They guide students with social knowledge as well. Faculty from all departments take responsibility for students’ futures. Every department faculty member conducts classes very clearly and helps students score good marks in semester exams. They advise students to achieve success in life. All faculty maintain discipline in the college.
Other: They conduct more events, sports, and cultural programs. Every month, they organize cultural or other programs, such as educational programs and business programs.

B.Com. in Accounting and Finance - Batch of 2027
Offered by Women's Christian College

Good college for academics.
Placements: Before entering this college, I came with an expectation that top companies like Deloitte and Cognizant would come to campus but in the last 2 years no such companies came. I am disappointed. Also they give a starting salary of Rs. 15,000 for a B.Com student. If you're choosing WCC for campus placements that is a big disappointment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-maintained. They keep on building new blocks and renovating classrooms for students' comfort and campus life. The computer lab facilities are also good but many computers are for faculty. Hostel life is very miserable as the hostel food is not good.
Faculty: The faculty of our department is excellent, easily approachable, friendly, and clear all doubts. Our department gives us so many opportunities to get exposure and develop ourselves. The curriculum is also relevant to our course not only theory subjects but they also teach us practical skills.

Honest review of Madras Christian College.
Placements: According to what I have seen, not many students have received good packages or strong placements. Placements mostly revolve around commerce departments. I have not seen placements in my department. There are internship drives organized by the college, various departments, and the MCC MRF Innovation Club.
Infrastructure: The college is very old. Buildings are also very old. Hostels (called halls) are also very old. The MCC MRF Innovation Park is the only modern and good facility I found. It also has a Korean café. There is no Wi-Fi on campus, and only Jio works with poor connectivity. The library is okay. Classrooms are very old. Hostels also look very old. Rooms are small and outdated. There is Wi-Fi in hostels, but the connectivity and speed are poor.
Faculty: Faculty and teaching staff of my department are really nice. They are supportive and highly knowledgeable. They are experienced in their fields. The non-teaching staff do not have good manners when speaking to students. They keep students under pressure during the admission process and even afterward. The curriculum is said to be updated, but it feels old. Exams include 3 ICAs and one end-of-semester exam. The second ICA is a creative test, which can become hectic at times.
