My honest review about my college.
Placements: College provided internships for all students, giving them practical knowledge about work culture. The placement cell was working well. Provided placement for deserving students in big companies like Reliance, Wipro, etc. Even MNC for technical courses.
Infrastructure: The hostel was fully furnished with titles and attached bathroom for 2 people. It provided 24X7 electricity and water. The food we got was healthy and good for our health. There was also a gym. It was located near the university campus.
Faculty: The course syllabus was quite updated in its ability to include other departments as part of the semester coursework. Something that a vast majority of the universities in India were still debating rather than implementing. While there was a lot left to be desired in terms of industrial exposure, for those who wanted to get into academics, the nature of applied courses. Faculty members were well-qualified and interactive. They were professional teachers dedicated to the students of our university and also there was a doubt session class. They were very responsive and helped every student's needs. The course and syllabus were mainly provided by the university. There were two main exams in a year, divided into semesters. Each semester was about five months long and in the end, a concluding exam was held. During each semester, students will be taught different aspects of the subjects of choice.

First of all, I want to say that USTM is the best private university.
Placements: World College of Technology and Management organizes a mega fob fair every year. More than 100 companies come to the college to hire better students based on their skills and knowledge. Every year, more than 50 students get the highest package of around 8 LPA - 10 LPA. This college provides more than 10 internships. Tech companies also come to the college every year like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, IBM, etc. The majority of companies provide paid internships, but some companies provide unpaid internships.
Infrastructure: There are many festivals here like Bihu, Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, Christmas, and everything. There are so many books in the central library. Whatever we need, we can find out that book. The room facilities are good. There are 3 beds in one room. Rooms are big and comfortable for 3 students. The meal is good. Every day morning, they give us fried rice, puri shabji, khichri, egg, chapati, etc. For lunch, dal and bhaji with any chutney are provided. For dinner, chapati, chicken, paneer, fish, egg curry, etc., are served. The hostel is present on the university campus.
Faculty: All faculty members in this college are very good in their respective fields. They have strong subject knowledge and teaching experience. Faculty encourage students to think critically and creatively. All faculty members are supportive of both academic and career development.

Fully satisfied with everything, faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: No one got placement from our batch. In our department, they don’t provide any placement. But even without placement, our faculty members were very helpful in everything. They used to help us in everything. Whenever they got information about some job vacancies, they used to inform us.
Infrastructure: Talking about hostel, the hostel facilities are top-notch for girls. It’s very safe, and the warden is very caring. I was not a hosteller, so I don’t know much about the food. But my friends used to stay there, and they said the food was very delicious.
Faculty: Our department faculty members are the best. They are very helpful, caring, and good at problem-solving. Students can go to the faculty members with any problem, and they will help you. Exams are conducted strictly, but we can pass easily if we study nicely because they provide every material which we need.
Other: My dream is to become a professor, so I chose this course hoping this university and faculty members would be helpful to me. Indeed, I was right, they are very helpful.

The most amazing part of USTM is the faculty members; they are so lenient and free.
Placements: You have to look for the companies for internships by yourself. Or you can choose a short new research project to work upon in your last semester, and you can even publish your work in some good journals. Also, you can learn a new software to enhance your profile.
Infrastructure: The overall campus experience in USTM is beautiful. The campus is very big with huge, beautiful buildings and infrastructure. We have a gym, pond, numerous parks, and a huge amenity center. It has the Northeast's largest auditorium and a library with over 80,000 books; every department has its own library. The football grounds are not good; they are the worst and getting worse every year. The ground is only meant for parking university buses and other things. Besides, the university doesn't allow female students to use the gym or be on campus after 5:00 PM, not even in the canteen or library.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are truly supportive in all aspects of a student's life, allowing us to explore a lot and build friendly, healthy relationships. Thankfully, I got all my department staff as my favorites, and to honor that, it is Sujithra ma'am. Unlike my favorites, I actually ignore the physical education staff because of their partiality and mannerisms. There are 2 semester exams per year, which are quite easy to handle alongside cultural sports and other activities. Only 2% may not clear the exams. The curriculum is closely relevant to the course every year.

All the faculty are highly knowledgeable.
Placements: From the 3rd semester, they are eligible to sit in placement. 100 companies visit our college. The selection process is based on the exams they conduct and interviews. Also based on graduation marks. The highest package was INR 20 LPA and the average was INR 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the facilities provided by the hostel were good. The campus of the hostel was very secure and safe. Accommodation in the hostel was based on a first-come, first-served basis. There were separate hostels for both boys and girls. The hostel provides many facilities, like a free Internet facility, 24-hour water supply, hot water facility, refrigerator, washing machines, dispensary, etc. The hostel appoints a warden who takes care of all the students and looks over all the amenities.
Faculty: I did my graduation in economics and I was also interested in pursuing a masters in it for teaching as a career, which is why I chose this course. The student ratio is 15:1. The faculty is really good and experienced here. They are helpful and kind, and they listen to understand their student's problems. Even they help in personal matters if facing issues. The professors, associate professors, and assistant professors are all very experienced and knowledgeable. Their teaching method is flexible depending on the way in which the students understand like using whiteboards, discussions, examples, interactive methods, critical thinking, etc. The term exams happen timely, as the date sheet is designed around 20–30 days in advance and generally, three papers are set up and one is selected for the examination. It is not difficult to pass the examination if students are attentive in their classes. Class Size: 75
Course Fee: INR 109000 per year.

Review of University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya.
Placements: There is no such placement opportunity in M.A. English. Students are on their own. As it is an academic field, many of the students go for a Ph.D. after their completion of a master's degree. Others go for B.Ed and other teaching courses. Mostly advertising and public relations companies used to visit the campus for hiring. Apart from this, there was a vibrant internship program that helped students get summer jobs at decent companies. Many MNCs came to fill up administrative positions. Big firms also line up for copywriting assignments. Publications hunted newbies for journalism roles.
Infrastructure: The curriculum of this course revolves around all the major aspects of literature. The curriculum is wholesome and collected therefore, it provides a complete knowledge about the same. The examination structure too is well defined. Hostels and mess both are in very good condition, well maintained, neat and clean and also serve very tasty and healthy food for students feels are very reasonable even a middle-class student can afford very easily and students belonging lower class families can also afford it with a familiar environment in the hostel as well.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is good and they are very intelligent and experienced. The teaching skill is different and unique, The faculty knows the best way to teach students and the hardest topics the easiest way. All teachers are the best in their course. Most lecturers had industry exposers in my opinion, the faculty always look forward to the student's study and they treat every student equally in providing education. The exams are conducted every month ie sessional exams which of 30 marks (3 sessional) and 1 final exam consisting of 100 marks 70 written and 30 internal.
