Life at University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya.
Placements: There are 106 students in the 2024 batch and all cleared their graduation in pharmacy with good CGPA. Among them, some got placements in various companies, whereas most of the other students are pursuing higher studies. A few students are preparing for higher studies entrance tests and doing internships in various hospitals and companies.
Infrastructure: University has well-equipped labs, good-quality classrooms, and libraries where one can find any kind of course-related study material. It also provides a computer lab with Wi-Fi facilities where students can go and work on their projects.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and help students at every step, not only with course-related matters but with life as well. All teachers share a strong bond with students, which helps everyone grow in a positive mindset and environment.
Other: Being a pharmacy student, we always get to learn about new things, discover new technologies, medicines, and more. We also get a chance to make our surroundings better, which is why I chose this course.

I would rate it 3.5 because the university allowed us to participate in every activity.
Placements: The placement was good. I entered my first company through the Placement Division. The salary was low due to the apprenticeship. The highest salary was 12 LPA, the average was 3 LPA, and the lowest was 1.68 LPA. Top recruiting companies in Assam were Ajanta Pharma Limited, Sun Pharma, etc. 100% of students got internships at Zone Pharmaceutical Limited. The top roles were Sales and Marketing Executive.
Infrastructure: The department and the building were new, so not many facilities were available, and whatever was available was not of good quality. But the Wi-Fi speed was good. Other facilities were also fine, and I loved my hostel. In the hostel, I got to eat chicken dry fry and chicken curry every Wednesday and Sunday.
Faculty: Everything was good. Faculty members were very supportive and friendly. The pass percentage was 50%. The education made students industry-ready. They also encouraged us to participate in various competitions, seminars, etc. We developed a lot through these activities, preparing ourselves for industrial practices.
Other: I chose the course as an alternative to an MBBS degree. The practical sessions should have been taken more seriously in this course. As a part of this professional course, I was always grateful.

THE USTM OF MEGHALAYA and its placements about B.Pharma.
Placements: I have got the maximum percentage. The highest package of B.Pharma is 6 Lacs per annum, and the lowest is 1 Lac per annum. State Bank of India, LG, etc. 60% of students got placed, and they are from SBI, LG, and Aditya Birla Company. The pride and the dignity which we receive from the university.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is 10/10. Hostel is okay, 7/10. The campus is good enough, and the faculty members are also the best faculty members. They took eyes in every part of the college, and even they organize many concerts and programs in the university every 2 months.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Yes, the industry is ready for the students who pass out with great marks, and they have a bright future also. They are sometimes tough, but trust me, the teachers are very helpful, and they teach us everything, and our exams become easy.
Other: I wanted to be a pharmacist since childhood, so I decided to take admission. Everything is okay. Eventually, events are going on.

Satisfied with the teachers , their support and teaching
Placements: Till now two batches have passed out from our course. This year our senior batch have got campus placement in many good companies and hospitals as well .Good salary packages were offered 1.8 Lpa .Internships are provided in Sun Pharma,Ajanta Pharma etc industries
Infrastructure: Good WiFi facilities. Water coolers are provided in every floor. Central library is there where almost all books are available . There are hostels inside as well as outside the campus. Food is good. Outside hostels are more preferred as the in time is very early inside the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. The semester exams are hard but you can get good marks if you study the notes properly. Sessional exams are very important for getting good grades and internal marks are also given based on sessionals .
Other: I think there should be more sports activities

The college campus is very big and satisfying, infrastructure is very well, placements are average.
Placements: Only 6% students of the college placed in this course. The highest package was 60,000-1,20,000. The lowest package was 10,000-45,000. Some top rated drug companies, chemical companies, medicinal companies are recruiting companies for this course. 70% students got internship from this course. Drug inspector, food inspector, researcher, professor, Pharmasist, Prescriptioner roles are offered .
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not good, labs are good, neat and clean appropriate apparatus are available needed chemicals are available. Classrooms have full facilitate and the classrooms are digital having projector, microphone and speakers, there is a big library in the college. Hostels are good for students, food quality is also good compared to other hostels, canteen food is not much good for health, good medical facilities, there are lots of facilities and equipment for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified from government institutes. Teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant. As a professional course it makes the students industry ready. As it is a professional course the semester exam is much difficult than other simple degree course. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: At this time medical courses getting more placements than any other, so I choose this course. In this course we get a license for pharmacy and this is the minimum advantage from this course. In the college, probably after every week there is different events organised, campus crowd is very big, this college provides all types of scholarship, if you have any extracurricular activity than this college give you the opportunity as much as they can.
