UOU (Uttarakhand Open University) UG Diploma Courses & Fees 2025

For PG level courses, such as M.A., MSc, MBA, candidates must have passed graduation with minimum 50% aggreagte. Selection for majority of the programme, is based on merit in the last qualifying examination. However, MBA admission is entrance-based (MAT/CAT/university level exam). 

UG courses, including Bcom and BSc requires Class 12 from a recognised board. Final admission is merit-based at Uttarakhand Open University (UOU), Haldwani.

UOU Uttrakhand open University offers courses in UG, PG, Diploma, PhD and Certificate level through the medium of open and distant learning. The University offers courses such as MBA/PGDM, BSc, MSc, BEd, BA, MSW, MCom, BCom, MCA and many more, through various schools. The University offers these courses through School of Agriculture and Development Studies, Vocational Studies, Earth and Environmental Science, Education, Humanities, Sciences and many more. 

UOU Uttarakhand is not very difficult to get admission at. Candidates must fullfil the basic eligibility criteria provided by the University. UOU Uttarakhand offers admission based on merit and entrance, depending on the level (UG or PG) of course. Candidates must qualify Class 12 or graduation with minimum suggested aggregate.

Courses such as MBA is offered based on the accepted entrance exam such as MAT/ CAT or university level entrance exams. Post shortlisting of candidates based on merit, candidates qualifying respective entrance exam recieve counselling. After the counselling process, final merit list is released and candidates require to get documents verified and pay the respective course fees for final seat allotment.

UOU admission process is both entrance-based and merit-based. Some of the programmes, such as M.A., MSc and BSc admission is merit-based. However, B.Ed and MBA admission is based on a valid score in entrance examination. Interested candidates can fill out the application form in both online and offline modes.
